Like other pumps in our dry technology range, the DVS series single-stage dry rotary vane vacuum pumps are all for clean operations. No emissions, no contamination. This makes them highly suitable for sensitive applications like medical systems, laboratory vacuum holding, printing, woodworking etc. While they may be small, they are powerful. The DVS series has an ultimate vacuum level up to 120-150 mbar(a). An interesting feature of this pump is a rotor equipped with grooves. Inserted into these grooves are our highly resistant graphite vanes. Centrifugal force ensures the vanes are pushed into contact with the body and ensures stable and continuous duty vacuum levels. Do you think the DVS vacuum pumps are a good choice for your application? Explore the full features here: https://bit.ly/3KZZIG9 #atlascopco #vacuumpumps #vacuumtechnology #industrialvacuum

🏆 Happy Monday, my Linkedin friends: Tips on solving air bubbles generated in lamination:📢 ✔Insufficient amount of glue. ⏭ The amount of glue in 1.8 to 2.2g/m2 for unprinted laminated film is enough, printing composite film is best 2.5-2.8g/m2 or more. ✔Poor drying. Adjust the drying capacity depends firstly 📍 on the drying system of the equipment, and secondly ✏ consider the amount of glue. Remember the first oven temperature should higher ✔Cylinder blocking. We advocate regular measurement of the amount of glue, ♻ when the amount of glue decreases to a predetermined value on the cleaning of the rollers, it is recommended to clean more than two times a week. 📋 ✔Hot cylinder with air bubbles should increase the amount of coating. 📖 Do you have any other solutions for it❔ Let's have a discussion 🤩

SLM Printing 👇 Selective Laser Melting (SLM) is a process where the object is built up layer by layer. For this purpose, the metal powder gets applied to the printing bed and then heated with laser beams from above that attach themselves as they make contact. Compared to other processes like SLS (Laser sintering), SLM produces denser objects because it melts melts of its material 100%. Complex geometries and structures with thin walls will be perfect for the selective laser melting process. These particular features are more difficult to produce using traditional methods, but when you use this technique they come out flawless! Low lot sizes make it even better because there is less need to spend time on mass production to cover your bases. #slm #3dprinting #metalprinting #rapidprototyping #lowvolume #metalparts #prototypes #surfacefinishing #automotiveparts #automationparts #medicaldevices #leanmanufacturing

New publication from our institute: Measurements show that electrical charges have a significant influence on the movement of droplets on surfaces. In a recent article in the journal "Physical Review Letters", Hans-Jürgen Butt and his team show how charges that are generated when a droplet slides on a surface influence the subsequent droplets. From precise inkjet printing to the optimized wetting of spectacle lenses - these findings could help to improve various technological applications. The researchers have found that the so-called "contact angle hysteresis", i.e. the difference in the angles formed by droplets on the front and back of an inclined plate, is significantly influenced by the presence of surface charges. You can read more about this in our press release: https://lnkd.in/es-_CKAK The original publication can be found here: https://lnkd.in/eQp9Y8cz 🚀🔍 #polymerresearch #researchresults #innovations"

[Z&S Products] #ACER #320 Acer 320 is a #lubricant for glaze suspensions and screen printing pastes based on glycols. The product is marked by an outstanding versatility and it is suitable even for adjusting the drying times of systems. The formulation also allows you to decrease the amount of water vapour, improving the printing definition on the raw ceramic support, and acting as a #primer. The product can be applied by means of #spray application systems on the previously applied glaze suspension or #added #directly to the glaze applied by spray, roller or bell systems. When applied to glaze suspensions, Acer 320 can avoid drying effect/phenomena on the nozzles. #zschimmerschwarz #ceramco #chemistry #ceramics #ceramicproduction #conceptmusic

[#DidYouKnow?] Johannes Gutenberg, a German blacksmith, goldsmith, printer, and publisher, adapted a wine press into the first printing press around 1439. 📰 💡 Printing rollers were metallic for a long time. Now, composite printing roller cores are used. To prevent friction-related sparks and damage, these rollers need anti-static properties. Glass fiber reinforced plastic rollers enhanced with graphene nanotubes offer permanent anti-static properties and increased cycle life, improving productivity.
