WHY AVIATION?!? Stable Career With Job Security..... In today’s economy, it can be difficult to find a career that is both stable and secure. However, those who choose to become aircraft mechanics can enjoy both of these benefits. Aircraft mechanics are responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on airplanes and helicopters. Due to the technical nature of the job, aircraft mechanics must have a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems. They also need to be able to work in small spaces and pay close attention to detail. While the work can be challenging, it is also rewarding. Aircraft mechanics typically work in teams and are able to see the results of their labor every time a plane takes off or lands safely. In addition, they can take pride in knowing that they are helping to keep the skies safe for both passengers and crew members. For those who are looking for a stable career with job security, becoming an aircraft mechanic is a great choice. #ais #advancedinnovativesolutions #nowhiring

The problem of not having enough airframe and powerplant technicians is not because of all of them retiring it is more that able technicians are getting out of the business because other sectors in business are paying more than companies want to pay their aircraft technicians. The technicians no longer want to have the stress and liability on their head when companies are only offering peanuts for compensation. This problem is not going to go away anytime soon until companies realize if you want a good quality technician you are going to have to pay for that. Good quality technician.

I’ve read several articles now regarding a controversial issue pertaining to the future needs of airframe and powerplant mechanics for drone maintenance and operations. What will be the impact to licensed mechanics and the overall market trends as the FAA continues to implement changes to 14 CFR 107 requirements or any new pending statutes around the corner? Will companies consider hiring licensed technicians or will there be new criteria implemented into the exams for airframe and powerplant mechanics?
