When food is produced, there are always leftovers and waste that end up in the bin or, at best, in a biogas plant or become animal feed - such as pomace or nutshells. But isn't it possible to do something useful with these so-called side streams? How is it possible to return them to the cycle in order to utilise as much of the raw material as possible in the end?
