Life of a New YouTuber 🥴
I tried to adjust the aperture on my SONY RX VII camera to achieve a beautiful depth-of-field effect in my video. However, upon reviewing the footage later, I realized it was blurry. It was frustrating, but I eventually reshot the footage without the depth-of-field effect and added a Gaussian Blur effect using Adobe Premiere Pro during editing. While the effect wasn't as clean as I wanted, I'm improving using the pen tool.
These technical difficulties caused me to miss my weekly post schedule, but I didn't let them discourage me. I still managed to complete the work within the week.
This experience taught me not to be too hard on myself when I miss a deadline due to technical difficulties. What's important to me is creating high-quality, well-written, visually appealing content with music that sets the right tone and adds value to my viewers. By doing this consistently, my brand as a YouTuber will only get stronger.

Interviewing for a job is a bit like an actor auditioning for a part.
You have no control over whether or not you will get the role and there are probably things going on behind the scenes that you know nothing about.
Maybe they are hoping for someone taller … Maybe someone else is willing to do the job for less money … Maybe someone’s wife/husband wants the job, too.
All you can do is present the best version of yourself and find a way to enjoy the process.

When studying voices, I usually look at the actor’s mouth, nose, and chin to get an insight into where the voice comes from. Quite often I am called upon to voice double for many Hollywood actors. This is my process for starting to learn the voice. #behindthescenes#voiceactor#actor#voiceover#tutorial

❤️Make casting LOVE you!👇
Have fun getting into your character’s head and thoughts.
When I am coaching and I see a client is stumped, I quickly lean on questions to ask the client why their character is behaving a certain way or saying a certain thing.
Are you doing this on your own time when preparing for a self-tape to get to know your character better? Ask questions to get a better understanding of your character and where you are coming from as the character.
Listen as I share how to go about working your scene in this way.
👉💬Tell me in the comments: Have you layered your character lately?

In this clip from my Real Actors Lab class, I discuss with my student Luiza the importance of embodying her true archetype. While she might often be called on to audition for a victim, her true essence is that of a queen. 🌟
Actors, remember: even if you’re asked to play a victim, your true archetype may be just the opposite, so you need to figure out how to bring your true essence to each role. Embrace your archetype and let it shine through every character you portray.
