Got to see this beautiful ARI control valve this morning before it shipped out. - Bellows Sealed Packing means no maintenance and emissions free - Hard faced Stellite seating area for erosive applications - Class I, Div 2 Positioners with HART Communication - Electric and Pneumatic actuation #energy #petrochemical #hydrogen #valves #industrial #oilandgas #pressure #downstream #asme #ansi #actuator
Just been fitting a few bigger ones on site which came separate valve/actuator which had stickers saying DO NOT LIFT ACTUATOR WITH VALVE attached!
Interesting post from a Riggers perspective and slightly confusing with the Rigging/Slinging arrangement that's been selected. Never ever seen a fully assembled valve been lifted in this way before, with all the weight hanging from the top of the actuator.
Take this photo off the site, this will give young guy’s in the lifting game ideas of lifting a valve and actuator this way , which is a no no
I'm just shocked how your lifting the full valve by the top like that!!
This ain't designed to be lifted like that, those dynamo eyebolts should not be lifted on any angle at all either. Those should be collared eyebolts and to lift this actuator with the valve attached is just double madness. This is how you damage items and cause accidents.
This is poor lifting practice and a great way to damage the equipment
Poor piece of rigging, don't ever recall lifting that type of control valve from the actuator, with all that weight underneath, wouldn't get lifted at a height like that, never mind in a workshop.
Cameron Coleman Hi, I would like to make a connection, since I require some steam traps. I'll stay tuned, thank you very much.
Hope them pad eyes are tested.
