Happy 4th of July from our team to you! As we gather to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends, let's not forget our furry companions! Here are some tips to keep your pets safe and calm during the festivities: 🎇 Create a Safe Space: Make sure your pets have a quiet, comfortable place to retreat away from the noise. 🐶 Keep Them Indoors: Fireworks can be frightening for pets. Keep them indoors and secure windows and doors. 🐱 Update ID Tags: Ensure your pets' ID tags and microchip information are up to date, just in case they get scared and run off. 🐾 Avoid Fireworks: Never use fireworks around pets. They can cause severe burns and trauma. 🎆 Watch the BBQ: Be mindful of what your pets eat. Certain foods can be harmful to them. Wishing everyone a safe and joyful 4th of July!

Here are some tips to keep your home and loved ones safe: 1️ - If fireworks are legal in your area, follow all safety guidelines, and never use them near homes or flammable materials. 2 - Ensure your grill is placed a safe distance away from your house, deck, or other structures. 3 - Before the celebrations begin, make sure your smoke detectors are working properly. Replace batteries if needed and have a fire extinguisher readily available. Celebrate Independence Day responsibly and enjoy a fantastic, fire-free July 4th!

Attended a memorial service, some take-aways: 1. Everyone needs grace. We all struggle to climb a mountain, and even if you don't make it to the top, or if you keep having to start over, the only true failure is in not trying. 2. Everyone needs help. It may not be today or tomorrow, but at some point, everyone's going to need someone to extend them a hand. This is especially true for those who are suffering and retreat inward...telling them, "reach out" doesn't work. They won't. We need to go to them. 3. Those providing care to others need our attention. Encouragement, a kind word, a moment away with a cup of coffee/tea, whatever. We all need to recharge, especially those who provide support to others.
