2. 🗃️ Stay Organised. Keep records meticulously. Effective organisation is key in HR for managing employee files, schedules, and compliance documents. Your paperwork skills need to be tip-top to survive in HR.
3. 👩💻 Embrace Technology. Learn to use HRIS and other tech tools that streamline HR processes like recruitment, payroll, employee management and performance management. HR is an extremely busy role and technology can help, trust me.
4. 👥 Network Extensively. Build a strong professional network within the HR community by joining any HR Associations and groups. The HR community is always helpful and can offer support. It also helps you to stay updated with the latest HR trends and practices.
5. ❤️ Advocate for Employees. Be approachable and create a trustworthy environment where employees feel comfortable discussing their concerns. Like I always say, it doesn’t hurt if you side the employees just a little bit more (and also remember, you are just an employee too >.<)
