We're happy to announce our 25-year power purchase agreement with Puget Sound Energy for our 315 MW Haymaker wind farm in Montana!   Haymaker represents a major investment in Wheatland and Meagher counties and is expected to contribute over $100 million in property tax revenue and hundreds of jobs over the project's life. 👷♂️ Once operating, the Haymaker wind farm will generate enough reliable, low-cost electricity to power over 116,000 homes each year. 💨 🏠   ️  Learn more: https://lnkd.in/ektaki2X

NEW: Clearway closed financing and started construction on two new energy projects in California! 🎉 ☀ 🔋 ️ Our 200 MW Luna Valley solar project in Fresno County and 113.5 MW Daggett Storage battery project in San Bernardino County represent a $700 million investment in local communities. They also provide what California’s power grid needs most: reliable and affordable clean energy.   Luna Valley and Daggett Storage bring Clearway’s portfolio of operating and construction assets to over 4.3 gigawatts in the Golden State. We’ve closed financing and started repowering construction on Clearway’s Cedro Hill wind farm in South Texas. Cedro Hill’s repowered capacity will increase to 160 MW within the site’s existing footprint and generate enough electricity to power over 40,000 homes each year. We’re proud to work with construction partner Wanzek Construction, Inc. to recycle the blades and other equipment and add decades to the project’s operating life and local benefits in Webb County.   Cedro Hill marks Clearway’s fifth wind farm repower in Texas and sixth across our portfolio, amounting to over 700 MW of upgrades to deploy resilient, state-of-the-art technology on sites with strong wind resources.                Read more: https://lnkd.in/eGB4RdnY

Our favorite work day is the one spent with the next generation of leaders. Clearway's West Virginia team recently hosted the Union Educational Complex for a site tour of our Mount Storm Wind farm. There's nothing we love more than hosting field trips and showing students how we generate homegrown American energy. 🏫💨

Turns out we aren't the only ones who know the Daggett Clean Energy Complex is special!   Last night, Dan Hendrick and Brandon M. Tarbert represented Clearway at the prestigious Reuters Events Energy Transition Awards ceremony to accept the Decarbonization Excellence Award for our 482 MW solar and 280 MW storage facility in San Bernardino County, California. ☀ 🔋 🏆
