🥳 We were delighted to welcome so many authors, friends and Brill colleagues to our editorial summer party yesterday to celebrate 300 years of Kant! After a warm welcome by Carsten Buhr, Manuela Gerlof and Maurits van den Boogert, guests were able to chat with our editors, browse beautiful book displays, and join a guided tour of our building. Philosopher Lea Ypi from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) gave a keynote lecture titled "Kant on Revolution," followed by a Q&A with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and DIE ZEIT journalist Katharina Teutsch. A new Kant museum in Lüneburg was the subject of curator Tim Kunze's presentation, and Kant-themed merch was raffled off, too. Throw in a fantastic buffet, gelato and drinks, plus some sugary pop tunes, and we had all the ingredients for a perfect summer day! Big thanks to everyone who came, and to all the organizers! #DeGruyterBrill #SummerParty
