Admin : +971509045393 About Padel Tennis Padel is a racquet sport. It is different from the sport known in the US and Canada as paddle tennis. Padel is typically played in doubles on an enclosed court roughly 25% smaller than the size of a tennis court. Scoring is the same as normal tennis and the balls used are similar but with a little less pressure. The main differences are that the court has walls and the balls can be played off them in a similar way as in the game of squash and that solid, stringless bats are used. The height of the ball being served must be at or below the waist level. Padel is not to be confused with platform tennis, a winter and summer sport typically played at country clubs in the US and Canada, with courts heated from below to eliminate snow and water. The court, rules and styles of play are very different. #paddletennis #dubai #worklifebalance #sports #fitness

5 facts about Padel! 🙌 🎾 Accessibility: Padel tennis is known for its accessibility, as it is relatively easy to pick up for beginners due to the smaller court size and rules that favor longer rallies. This makes it a social and family-friendly sport. 🎾 Padel balls are smaller than tennis balls. On first glance padel and tennis balls are almost identical - but there’s a big difference. Padel balls have less pressure so do not bounce as much as tennis balls, and they’re slightly smaller. 🎾 Padel rules are similar to tennis - but you serve underarm. In padel scoring is the same as tennis - but there are many differences between the sports. A padel court has walls, so shots can be played off them, like in squash. 🎾 Unique Court Features: Padel courts are surrounded by glass walls, and they often have a metal mesh or fence on top of the back wall, allowing for spectacular bank shots and exciting rallies as the ball can bounce off the walls. 🎾 Rapid Growth: Padel tennis has experienced significant global growth in recent years. It is played in more than 30 countries and has attracted players of all ages and skill levels. Want to try padel out? #padeltennis #padel #sports #pottersbsr #letsplay

Padel is overtaking tennis the world over. There is nothing that can stop its momentum. Just ask great tennis nations - Spain, Argentina, Sweden, and Portugal. Despite being way behind in Italy, padel is forecast to surpass tennis in 2028. Your country is next. Here’s why: Padel is easy to learn and fun to play. Long rallies and a wide variety of shots make it engaging, while the relatively smaller courts allow all four players to easily interact with each other during the game. It’s social. It appeals to a much wider audience. And 38% of players are women. Most pertinent is that kids love it. Why spend 6 months learning tennis when they can play padel from day one? The next generation are impatient. Padel will be their sport of choice. #padel #india #padelindia

Head of Trading at Syz Group / 60k+ followers / Winner of the Excellence in Equity Trading Award for European Women in Finance 2023
The Gulf in Paris 2024 Ticket Prices While the organizers of the Paris Olympics have set out to make them the “People’s Games”, the availability of affordable tickets has been a topic of discussion in the run-up to the games. Here is a huge gulf in ticket prices for the Olympics, with the most expensive tickets for the finals in Athletics, Swimming and Basketball priced at €980, which is more than 40 times the price of the cheapest tickets available for each sport. At the other end of the scale, some events top out at €24, which mostly applies to outdoor events that can also be watched for free along public roads, along the Seine, or – if you happen to be in Tahiti – at the famous Teahupo’o wave. According to the organizing committee, one million tickets were priced at €24, while almost half of the 10 million available tickets were priced at €50 or less. #olympicgames #paris #sports #tickets #prices #people

I'm often asked whether tennis players coming to padel have an advantage over pure padel players 🤔 Tennis players certainly have a head start due to their familiarity with hitting a similar ball and some shared techniques like volleys and groundstrokes. However, if you're new to padel, don't be discouraged! Tennis players often rely on their natural ability and might not start with lessons. On the other hand, padel newcomers often understand the importance of early lessons to grasp the sport's nuances. Consistent lessons and dedication can level the playing field and, with persistence, even surpass the initial advantage tennis players might have. So, whether you've got a strong tennis background or completely new to racket sports, investing in early lessons is a key to success in padel 🎾 #Sport #Padel #PadelTennis #LTA #ThePadelSchool #PadelTips #PadelLessons #PaddleTennis #PadelExercise #Leisure #RacketSport #Pickleball #GBpadel #WorldPadelTour #PadelVideos #PadelFun
