Last week I finally got to tick a big challenge off my bucket list with an old pal of mine, Will Manners. We completed The National 3 Peaks Challenge, with a little twist thrown in for good measure; instead of driving the 450 miles between the Peaks, we cycled, in 63hrs!

Why do I do these challenges? The simple answer is that they give me focus; fitness, good nutrition, a proper sleep regime, the opportunity to raise funds for a good cause, and most importantly, an excellent work-life balance.
All the above is essential when running your own business from a home office. It keeps me sane, gives me purpose, and makes sure my body and mind are in the best shape possible to cope with anything life throws at me.
14 years ago I was struggling... I was 17.5 stone, didn't do any exercise, had an awful diet, drank too much, suffered badly from insomnia, and worked stupidly long hours. As a result, my business was suffering, my health wasn't good and I was a strong candidate for a Heart Attack or Stroke.
I'm not perfect now, by any stretch, but I do have purpose and focus that keep my compass true.
If you're wondering how to break out of a rut and need focus, I'm always happy to have a chat!
Incidentally, we have now raised almost £7,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity, and we'd really like to bust through that target, so if you haven't donated yet, there's still time: https://lnkd.in/eaRv62nt
