On the way to international recognition. Our company is now a member of the European Business Association 👏🏻 We are proud to announce our membership in the European Business Association (EBA). This step is extremely important as it emphasizes our efforts to strengthen international relations and opens up new opportunities for development and cooperation in the European market. 🤝🏻 Membership in the association provides us not only with the opportunity to expand our network of professional contacts, but also to receive up-to-date information on trends and changes in the European business environment. Yesterday, thanks to Students Diplomatic Association (LUSDA) of Luiss University, I had the pleasure to participate in the event "European Competitiveness: How can the next European Commission boost productivity, growth, and economic prosperity?" organized by Ambasciata di Svezia in Italia and Europe Unlocked. 🇸🇪🇪🇺🇮🇹 During the event, held in the beautiful venue of Sala delle Colonne at Luiss Viale Pola, the opening remarks of Professor Raffaele Marchetti and the Swedish Ambassador in Italy H.E. Jan Björklund set the scene. Later, during the panel composed by Christian Danielsson, Marco Canaparo, Anna Stellinger, and Matteo Borsani, the discussion focused on the economic opportunities that the new EU mandate should promote starting from June. In particular, given the EU lower economic productivity levels which condemns the continent to lag behind the U.S. and China, based on the recent report drafted by Enrico Letta, the core of the discussion has been "how the strong European resilience should help and foster the growth of small and medium enterprises which operate in the Single Market". The next EU legislature will have the chance to address the current fallacies creating a more competitive market🇪🇺.

Last week, IURC had the privilege of hosting a profoundly insightful session at the EU Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels. The focus was clear yet multifaceted: to explore the transformative potential of international cooperation in urban and regional development. The session illuminated the critical role of international partnerships in fostering innovation, particularly in this era of significant post-industrial transition. We delved into how these collaborations offer diverse perspectives, stimulate the exchange of experiences, encourage capacity building, and facilitate global networking. What stood out was the shared understanding that our collective curiosity and eagerness to learn are the driving forces behind creative solutions to the complex challenges cities and regions face. Representatives from Hamburg, North East Romania, Genova, Krapina-Zagorje County, Sisak Moslavina County, Murcia, and Extremadura shared their invaluable experiences and lessons learned through international cooperation. These ranged from leveraging technology in public services to strategic partnerships for boosting the e-sports sector. The key takeaways from this session underscored a significant truth: knowledge exchange and capacity building are not mere theoretical concepts but are practical, actionable strategies that lead to real-world impacts. These international engagements, as showcased in the session, lay the groundwork for long-term collaborative partnerships, fostering ongoing knowledge exchange, and economic development. As we move forward, these insights serve as a reminder that our strength lies in our diversity and our ability to collaborate. Headlined Connecting the Opportunities - Swedish Trade and Investments in Estonia, SCCE invited to a Networking Seminar on Monday 20 November at SEB’s Innovation Centre in downtown Tallinn. Filled with interesting presentations as well as a panel discussion, a Q&A session and a lot of networking, it became a well-visited afternoon event.
