You are a plant operator. Your career goals don't align with the company's objectives. What you do If my career goals don't align with the company's objectives as a plant operator, I would take the following steps: 1. Self-Reflection: I would first take some time for self-reflection to clarify my career goals and aspirations. This could involve assessing my skills, interests, values, and long-term career ambitions. 2. Research and Exploration: I would research other career opportunities within the field of plant operations as well as in related industries. I would explore different roles, companies, and career paths to identify options that better align with my goals and interests. 3. Seek Feedback: 4. Evaluate Options: Once I have identified potential career paths, I would carefully evaluate each option based on factors such as job satisfaction, growth potential, alignment with my values, and opportunities for advancement. 5. Networking: I would actively network with professionals in my desired field or industry to learn more about potential opportunities and build relationships that could help me transition to a new role or company. 6. Skill Development: Depending on the requirements of my desired career path, I may need to acquire new skills or qualifications. I would invest in professional development opportunities such as training programs, certifications, or continuing education courses to enhance my skillset and marketability. 7. Set Goals and Action Plan: Once I have identified my desired career path, I would set clear goals and develop a strategic action plan to achieve them. This could involve setting milestones, timelines, and specific actions to progress towards my career objectives. 8. Communicate with Management: If appropriate, I would have an open and honest conversation with my supervisors or management about my career goals and aspirations. I would explain the reasons for my decision to pursue other opportunities and express my gratitude for the experiences and opportunities provided by the company. 9. Plan Transition: Once I have secured a new opportunity aligned with my career goals, I would plan my transition from the current role responsibly. This may involve providing adequate notice, completing any pending projects or responsibilities, and ensuring a smooth handover of duties to my successor. 10. Maintain Professionalism: Throughout the process, I would maintain professionalism and integrity in my interactions with colleagues, supervisors, and stakeholders. I would continue to perform my duties to the best of my ability and uphold the company's values and standards until the time of my departure. By taking these steps, I would navigate the transition from a plant operator role that doesn't align with my career goals to a new opportunity that offers greater fulfillment, growth, and alignment with my professional aspirations.

In Megatech Industries AG we are fiercely passionate about our work but we also take care to have time for our hobbies where we can unwind. Today we would like to introduce our awesome ⭐ Process Technician ⭐ from our plant in Amurrio, Kepa Cid Bidarte, who is not only a loyal employee of 26 years 👏 but also a passionate runner. 🏃♂️ What should your colleagues know about you? 👉 That I am always there to help in any way I can. What do you like most about your colleagues? 👉 That they are always there when I need them. And that they always help those around them. What do you like most about Megatech in Amurrio? 👉 There are very good people and good colleagues. In fact, many of us have been here for more than 20 years. That's why. I If there was a bad atmosphere, it would not be possible. How would your colleagues describe you? 👉 I don't know, I've never been told that. But I guess sometimes I'm a little grumpy and too sincere, (I don't shut up) But I also think I'm good people. I hope they think so at least, hahahaha What does Megatech offer its employees? 👉 I think stability and trying to have a good group to make the company work well. I believe that people listen to us and we can always give our opinion without any problem. Although sometimes our complaints cannot be carried out. It is normal, I think. But the important thing is that there is dialogue. What are your goals? 👉 To help my colleagues (company) as much as I can to make things go well. To continue to contribute what I can to add and of course to learn. What professional challenges have you faced in recent years? 👉 I have been in the Processes and Continuous Improvement department for 6 years and when they offered it to me, I hesitated a lot because I didn't know if I would be able to do it. But thanks to my colleagues both in the department and in others (Quality, production, logistics, Mto) everything has been easier and I continue to learn every day. What have you learned and how have you developed personally at Megatech? 👉 I joined a machine as an operator, as I said before, for 2 months. They gave me the opportunity to be assistant foreman and then I was JDT. In the plant you learn a lot, thanks to my colleagues and bosses, but sometimes you have no choice but to learn on your own, as for example when we worked on weekends and we were alone (Test-Error). And be self-taught for many things. In this stage of continuous improvement, it's nice because you try to do things to improve processes and make people work better. What do you like most about your job? 👉 We work very well thanks to the great team we have and especially when you think of a project, develop it and then implement it, it is very gratifying to be honest. Megatech Industries AG is very proud to have Kepa Cid Bidarte in our ranks ❤️.

One of the most exciting part about starting out my career as a plant operator, it’s the invaluable experience I have gained through teamwork. Excited to share the importance of teamwork in acid plant operations! As process engineers in acid plant operation, teamwork isn't just a buzzword; it's the cornerstone of our success. Ever wonder why experienced operators seem to work so effortlessly? It's what doesn't happen, as well as what does happen. An experienced operator's expertise can be recognized by: ✅ The smooth operation of equipment. ✅ The absence of frequent breakdowns. ✅ The lack of wastage in the production process. ✅ The prevention of accidents and safety incidents. But it's also about what does happen: ✅ Timely maintenance of equipment. ✅ Efficient use of resources. ✅ Consistent production of quality products. ✅ A safe and productive work environment. Without seeming to work as hard as a new man, the "old hand" keeps his unit running smoothly. EXPERIENCE IS ABOUT WORKING SMARTER, NOT HARDER! Experience is not just about dealing with problems; it's about preventing them. 🔧 Never underestimate the value of an experienced operator. 📌 And if you're looking for more insights into the world of plant operations, 📤 Follow me for more posts like this.
