Congrats to MOL Group, Amazing Video, it's an incrediable facility map view. That Show US how important THE POLYOL concepts are on the recycable to sustainable path in the digital era. Work hard and clever and the magic comes, sometimes with 1,3billion sometimes with less, sometimes it comes and we think we see it but only the pay back calculations and results give US the Truth. The question is could the old market polyol facilities and solutions implement continious improvement strategies on the Automation to Digital with less investments?
Today we inaugurated our €1.3 billion polyol complex in Tiszaújváros, marking MOL Group's largest organic investment to date. This facility, which will produce approximately 200,000 tonnes of polyol annually, means an important milestone in MOL’s efforts to foster to innovation, sustainability, and growth in the chemical industry. Joined by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary, Zsolt Hernádi, our Chairman and CEO, and Ilse Henne, the Board member of thyssenkrupp, we celebrated the result of a true international team work that will redefine our presence in the market. We are proud to control the entire value chain from petroleum processing to polyol production, making us the sole company in Hungary and Central and Eastern Europe with this capability.

Post-doctoral researcher at KU Leuven in Prof Vogt's Bioinorganic Chemistry research group and Chemistry Lecturer at KU Leuven
Check out a review that I wrote together with Nada Savic, Kilian Declerck, Shorok Abdelhameed, and Tatjana Parac-Vogt that was recently published in Chemical Society Reviews! 📖 It covers the reactivity of metal-oxo clusters towards several biomolecules (e.g., proteins, DNA, sugars, lipids), which has potential for addressing some key global challenges such as in the development of new inorganic drugs 💊 and the conversion of biomass into biofuels ⛽. This represents one of the central research lines of our group over the past decade and illustrates the journey from discrete polyoxometalates to Metal-Organic Frameworks. 📎 https://lnkd.in/eHaKTJjd

The CARBIOW project's consortium faces the second day of its M18 General Assembly, where, in addition to attending the presentations of the WPs that were still pending, we had the chance to discuss in detail any aspect of the project, present or future, from the logistical to the technical part, including general issues such as dissemination of results, task planning, the creation of the Advisory Board or even the details of the next meeting. In this way, each partner contributes its know-how to ensure that the project continues to advance and progress as positively as in the last six months. https://carbiow.eu/ #HorizonEurope #Biofuel TECNALIA Research & Innovation Technische Universität Darmstadt VITO Svåheia Eiendom AS Vertoro B.V.
