INTERNATIONAL MULTILINGUAL DEVELOPMENT EXPERT, WHO, PAHO, WB, USAID, JICA, WORLD VISION, REDCROSS, IFRC, WPRO, PROJECT MANAGERS WITHOUT BORDERS, GREEN ENERGY 4 ALLS,
Now what is the purpose of Hamas to still retain hostages? They believed that Israel will not attack? Of course that will not happen. Israel will not stop until every hostage is free. Now if Hamas does not free those children, women, men, what are they thinking? Are they using the Civilians as Shields? It is not working.Israel will not back down until it is certain it has crushed all of Hamas and is also a public statement to those who will venture to attack Israel. Does Hamas wants the conflict to become worldwide? I am not sure, but I think so. Now Israel also does not have the right to kill Civilians. Its known that Hamas uses key places to affect Civilians. What will be the end of this? Did Hamas planned the attack by itself? No Are there others behind in all? Yes What was the purpose of the attack of Hamas, since it was known they will not win? Start a third World War, involving all Arab Nations, Support of Russia, perhaps China and others that are not with Israel? Drag Super Powers to the conflict? Now it seems this will not end soon, Hamas has ignited a fire that could become a Permanent One or at least provoke the Volcano to erupt. Whats your take? No one in the World has the rigth to kill, have hostages and inflict disaster to other. It does not matter from which side it is. What happens next? The UN has no power, forget it that they will be the main actors. Others are playing this deadly Chess Game.
The plight of those still being held hostage is a top priority for us. We facilitated the release of 4 hostages. We are pushing to visit those remaining. But we need the support of all those who have influence to make this happen.

Do you have a no D!£%head policy? Turns out it’s good for business. Yesterday I had the privilege of listening to the Chair of the Welsh Rugby Union Richard Collier-Keywood talk eloquently about the important Welsh cultural asset he is now responsible for and the need for it to serve all stakeholders i.e. benefit society beyond the bottom line. In business it’s known as CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) which emerged as a concept in the 1960s. Back then it was seen as an altruistic means of doing more with a business than just making money, but it was assumed it would involve sacrificing profit to achieve it. The growing evidence shows this is not the case. Being environmentally responsible, inclusive and serving of all stakeholders (customers, employees, investors, the environment and wider society) builds a strong brand, customer engagement, profit and also investment opportunities. The All Blacks have an NDH (No D!£%head) policy. They clean their own dressing rooms, carry their own bags and essentially show humility, accountability and a recognition of all the stakeholders in their organisation. For me, corporate social responsibility boils down to common sense, respect and humility. It’s good to see those leading our national game going forward aspire to the same ethos. And at a time of such high attrition in business in general, would it not be best to have a smart business model that ensures that everyone in the eco system is incentivised to see the venture succeed?

Another great Cardiff Business Club event today where we heard from the insightful Richard Collier-Keywood about the past, present and future of the WRU. Thanks as always to Paul Thorburn and rounding off the sporting connections, great to meet Debra Michelle Williams and Graham Thomas !

This shows why a robust construction site fire risk assessment is so important. I have carried out many health and safety inspections on construction sites over the years where they have failed to do a fire risk assessment and put adequate fire safety controls in place.
I hope everyone at the Sir Robert McAlpine, Station Hill development site in Reading Town Centre are safe and accounted for. 😢
