Many of us work tirelessly on various platforms to spread the truth and promote understanding abroad about the situation in Israel. One of them is our alumnus Yoav Bruck יואב ברוק, the owner of “Istta Sport ltd “, a Tel Aviv University's alumnus from the Faculty of Management and a three-time Israeli Olympian.   Yoav was featured in a special interview with Inside with Brett Hawke, where he discussed the current situation in Israel, what Israel does for defense, and why it cannot afford to lose. Games of the Future The Games of the Future is a large-scale sporting event at the intersection of sports, science and technology, a synergy of spectacular classical and digital sports.

South Korea has won 23 of the 34 Olympic gold medals in archery since 1984. And success leaves clues... “When Korean kids are younger, they train with a rubber band. They don’t go to a bow right away.  So they focus on form.  Again and again. But in America, they focus on where it lands. So they don’t really focus on form that much.” That’s a quote from a US archer training in Korea – her observation on the differences between the two nations. A clue that, focusing on the process is more helpful than focusing on the outcome. Which research has shown time and time again, to drive better results. Could be: – Focusing on enjoying and improving writing skills, rather than subscriber/follower numbers – Focusing on mastering skill and technique, rather than weight lifted – Focusing on the human, rather than the sale Get lost in the process in 2024, and the outcome might just take care of itself.

As a dedicated senior volunteer with ScoutsUK, I find immense pride in witnessing the steadfast commitment of our UK contingent as they navigate the ongoing challenges at the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea. 🇬🇧🌟 In a world where the media can skew perceptions, it's crucial to set the record straight. Our remarkable group of 4.5k young scouts and adult volunteers are exemplifying the very essence of Scouting values. 🤝💪 Kudos to the prompt decisions taken by the UK Scouting leadership team. This foresight led our contingent to proactively relocate to Seoul, ensuring the safety and well-being of our Scouts. This strategic move positions them at an advantage to effectively manage the situation and lend support to other units seeking alternatives due to challenging conditions and a potential impending typhoon threat. ⛺🌧️🌀 It's disheartening when phrases like 'they should have been prepared' are thrown around, referencing the old Scouting motto. But newsflash: our contingent was prepared, and they've admirably responded to this dynamic situation. Preparedness isn't always about preventing the unforeseen; it's about equipping ourselves to make swift and informed decisions when challenges arise. A heartfelt salute to every member of the contingent and the UK leadership team, especially those from my Area, Clwyd. This lack of influence defines the independence between these events. Thus, in the dance of probabilities, A and B move to their own rhythms, untouched by the steps of the other. This harmony is the essence of independent events, creating a symphony of certainty in the realm of chance.Consider the Semi-Finals of Euro 2024: if France wins the 1st Semifinal, it doesn’t mean the Netherlands will win the 2nd Semifinal, nor does Spain’s win in the 1st Semifinal imply England will win the 2nd Semifinal. Two semifinals are independent if the outcome of one doesn’t affect the outcome of the other.More precisely, if there are two candidates in an election, and if Q loses, then P must win, and if Q wins, then P is considered lost. This scenario is not an example of independent probability. In essence, true independence means each event unfolds its own story, unaffected by the tale of the other, weaving a tapestry of probability that is both intricate and beautifully unpredictable.
