Pleasure to host Mr Paul Sanderson, President of International Property Tax Institute (IPTI) at Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). IPTI is an independent, not-for-profit organisation formed by industry experts from around the world to promote and foster property taxation and asssessment ideals on an international scale. Mr Sanderson, a former CEO of the Valuation Office Agency (4,000 staff UK Executive Agency), was very kind to conduct a workshop and roundtable discussion with colleagues from our Property Tax Division. His insights on international trends, best practices in other jurisdictions and key developments in the space of property valuation and assessment were most illuminating. In my private chat with Paul, I also introduced my other role as CEO of Tax Academy of Singapore and explored ways to collaborate in training and development.
