This week, our newcomers participated in our bi-annual #Newcomer’s Seminar where they learned more about our company, vision, brands, teams and activities, culture and ways of working! The Newcomer’s Seminar was created to set our employees up for success and give them a richer understanding of what each department does at IP. Newcomers were able to meet their fellow colleagues at our cocktail reception, smell our upcoming fragrance launches and participate in fun activities such as ranking #fragrance samples to help our Product Development Team choose the scents for a future collection! It is no easy feat, managing the social media for all brands at once as a 1 woman army. But it has been the most incredible learning experience of my life. In these 7 months, I have had to learn quickly, pick up as much as I can, and can honestly say I got 1% better every single day. It is peak season for our brands. It's the wild wild west! But the ever changing tasks each day keep things fun and exciting. Curiosity. If I were to describe the emotion which led me through first two weeks in Notino that would be the word. I haven’t experienced it in such a high saturation for really a long time. What causes it? Almost six Years spent in L'Oréal helped me to get to know european Health & Beauty market inside out. When You work on multiple strategic business partnerships at some point You just realize that not much can surprise You. What was surprising me for all this time was the tempo of Notino gaining new (satisfied!) consumers and engaging them into long lasting relationship. Believe me, it’s not that common for our industry. In fact it surprised me so much that it made me want to join these Rebels. Fast forward to 6 months later and together with Pawel Matecki we get onboarded by Bartosz Kliś and His Marvelous Crew and we already know that there wasn’t an ounce of coincidence in Notino’s recipe for success. I’m amazed how consequently the strategy for next 5 Years is being implemented and how data driven the process is. It made me realize that I joined the Company right before the moment of introducing the completely new standard of Consumer Experience to Beauty Industry and I couldn’t be happier to be the part of it. Especially when we’re provided with such an effective way of exploring what’s behind. It’s a super valuable experience which makes You feel the part of the Winning Team from the very first moment and ecourages You to score Your first goals right on. Regarding the onboarding process I also have one observation. What other companies promise to their new joiners, Notino delivers! Let’s be honest, it’s also not that common these days😉
