The reason we do what we do is to see customers flourish online. Often we do this for little thanks, with many people still thinking digital marketing is little more than clicking the Facebook Boost button. I had one of the most "frustratingly joyous" conversations this week when we had to pause some Google ad campaigns for a customer. Frustrating...because we had to temporarily pause them only 5 weeks in. Joyous...because the reason we had to pause them was the customer couldn't keep up with fulfilment. "Blown away by the results" "We're victims of your success" and the best one... "by the time I got off the toilet there were two more sales come in". What's even better that this is in the internet provisioning market which has to be one of the most competitive markets, playing with the big guns...and it's an unknown consumer brand. Just another happy day in Google Ads campaigns.

The biggest mistake people make with Facebook Ads: They measure the wrong metric. If I ask you how successful your ads are, you might say something like: - I got 1000 clicks - I spent $100 - I got 50 leads But none of those are the most important metric. The one that really matters? Cost per acquisition. How much did you pay for each customer? If you know that number, you can figure out: - Whether you're making money - Whether you're spending too much on ads - Whether you need to change your strategy So, make sure you're measuring your cost per acquisition. It's the only way to know if your ads are really working. #PaidAds #FacebookAds #CPA #ROAS

We Spent $1,827.47 To Validate His High Ticket Offer And Where People Going Wrong Scaling. Offers can be validated for $1,000 - $5,000. You run a validation test and 8 signals tell you exactly what to do next. This was a brand-new and completely untested offer. So, we utilized a live webinar and combined it with a Facebook group for community and delivering value in the form of homework. Our goal was to spend $2,000 and analyze the signals. To be honest, the CTR was a little lower than I'd like at 0.40% and the show-up rate was low below 20%. However, The stick rate, engagement rate, and questions and DMs that flooded in... Were off the charts. The launch finished at a 2x ROAS, with 1 person on the fence. Here's where most people go wrong... They start scaling right away. They increase ad spend, maybe they launch some new ads, and hope that the "Media Buying" is going to improve that 2x to a 3 or 4x. Here's what we did instead... We took the data that we collected and began refining the offer. Then we tweaked the positioning, tweaked the webinar script, increased the price, rewrote the ads, crafted a relevant lead magnet, and built out email sequences. Ohh, we also uncovered 2-3 other products that people are interested in. This is how you validate and then scale an offer. -Landon PS You can learn more about the 8 signals we evaluate here: https://lnkd.in/gswzkbVn

I was thinking of sharing my insights and understanding that I have learned from the experts about one particular METRIC that has been given too much importance in the digital marketing world: ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend). I have even seen people trying to sell their products or services completely based on one single value offer: that they can help improve ROAS. Now, many might still believe that ROAS is the be-all and end-all of measuring success. However, ROAS is a misleading and limited metric that does not truly correlate with business success. ROAS is based on attribution models that simply don't capture the complex customer journey. Each individual's path to conversion is unique, far from the simplistic seven-day sales cycle assumption. By relying solely on ROAS, you miss out on capturing the entire essence of the customer experience. Secondly, ROAS completely disregards crucial factors like cash flow, operating costs, recurring revenue, refunds, customer lifetime value, transaction fees, and even the cost of goods. It's essentially a snapshot in time that lacks the context and depth necessary for making informed decisions. Imagine this scenario: You achieve an impressive ROAS on Facebook. But guess what? Your business is struggling to stay afloat because you neglected to factor in the other operational costs and failed to focus on customer acquisition and retention, lifetime value, and average order value. While you do your accounts and finances, you don't look at Facebook ROAS. You're more interested in the overall profitability and growth of the business. I have seen true experts say this every day or successful business owners actually opt for this, let go of this vanity metric, and start prioritizing metrics that truly matter today. #CustomerCentricMarketing #ProfitableScalingMargin #ShiftYourFocus #MetricsThatMatter #FacebookMarketing #FacebookAds #BreakFreeFromROAS

Facebook ads won’t save you (anymore). After managing over 12 Million and generating 235,669 leads here’s what I observed: The companies that continue to thrive using Facebook ads have upgraded their approach from what worked 3-4 years ago. They no longer view the ad platform as the “savior” of their business. But leverage it as an integral part of their marketing strategy. Using a combination of these 6 strategies: + Creative testing. + Improved offer(s) & funnel economics. + Brand building. + Customized email sequences. + Automation. + Adjusting attribution/measurement. Success is now driven by adopting a long-term strategy. I created a short guide to show you: https://lnkd.in/gricHBYs ~~~ ✍️ Agree? Miss something? ♻️ Reshare if this hits home.

Looking to seriously boost your Facebook Ads performance? In my line of work, these tweaks could be your game-changer. 💼📈 Once we take a new client under our wing, the journey begins with a detailed analysis and creation of personas - your potential customers. Once we understand who we're speaking to, we lay a roadmap ⏩ of creative testing for the next 4-6 weeks. Are you doing this? Most likely not - as only 5% of all Facebook advertisers are harnessing this strategy to build success. Let me tell why you should start... now! Without this roadmap 🗺️, many advertisers work without a defined structure, failing to leverage their learnings for driving predictable growth. What goes into this roadmap? Glad you asked! Let's peel it layer by layer: - Hypothesis: it's about culminating your curiosity into this question - what do we seek to prove with our test and why fill the gas tank for it? - KPIs: Knowing which metrics we are aiming to increase? And which ones we have to track in fear of a decrease? - Variable: What's going to be our game-changing variable? On the roadmap, you'll also find handy markers as allocated test budgets 🏦, learnings from the past, and of course, the account structure. Time for some introspection. Do you already have a testing roadmap for your Facebook Ads? If not, what's holding you back? Really, what's your excuse? Layout that roadmap. There's a whole new world of opportunities waiting. 🚀🌐
