3 months since the last post and here I am on a faithful evening sharing another of my impactful(hopefully) Projects, I embarked on an incredible journey, diving headfirst into various remarkable projects that have left an indelible mark on my personal and professional growth. From intricate project frameworks to international-level festivals, every step has been a testament to the power of determination, hard work, and the incredible synergy that arises when passionate individuals come together. Vignan Mahotsav: An Experience Beyond Expectations The Vignan Mahotsav, a university fest, exceeded all my expectations and proved to be an extraordinary and profoundly educational experience for both myself and my team. Despite moments of exhaustion and wavering morale, our unwavering teamwork and resilience propelled us through every obstacle, allowing us to emerge triumphant and brimming with a sense of accomplishment. My role as the Choreographer and Model Master on the front end, coupled with overseeing the project's execution on the back end, was a true test of my leadership abilities. With the unwavering support of my team, we executed this project in all its glory, helping to build our models' portfolios with stunning photoshoots. Centered around the famous Netflix series "#Bridgerton," set between 1813 and 1827, our theme delved into the Regency era, a period of profound change and development in fashion, architecture, and style. This posed a significant challenge, as we not only had to engage with a revered schemata but also embrace and nurture new talents, making the experience all the more enriching. Our accomplishments extended beyond merely winning a prize in Haute Couture; we gained invaluable experience as designers and fashion enthusiasts, reigniting our passion for design and modeling. This journey has helped me understand leadership roles better, fostering moments of shared happiness and team-building that will forever be etched in my memory. The past three months have been a whirlwind of growth, discovery, and unwavering determination. Each project, each challenge, and every triumph have served as stepping stones toward a future brimming with endless possibilities. With renewed vigor and a heightened sense of purpose, I eagerly anticipate the next chapter of this exhilarating journey, ready to embrace whatever obstacles and triumphs lie ahead.

CREATIVE PRODUCER ✨ Bringing ideas to life | Amazon | Zivame | Madura | Flipkart | Creative campaigns, shoot planning & execution, quality brand content
An old project done for NYKD by Nykaa. #Creative #production has become an easy task today with AI coming in scene. But back in the day, it was all labor intensive hard work that required actual thinking and brainstorming. We cherish, take pleasure in the process of #creating #art. This is what drives us reach near satisfaction as creators, artists and designers. While some people might wonder "What's in it? Just throw in some flowers and pearls around the product and voila!". Debunking this misconception by sharing my process here. 😊 Lingerie flatlay styling done by using following skills & insights: 1. Creating a deck of slides laying down expectations from the brand, deliverables, timelines and a list of Do's and Don'ts (my first and foremost step is to organize the information that I have received in bits and peices, stitch all of them together and finally lay it out on a platter for careful inspection. I had to extract some of the info by digging deeper, like what props they never use, what angles work for them, lighting etc, which a brand might not always convey. 2. Careful selection of color palette after studying the brand and it's visual identity. 3. Pulling out references and similar ideas to build on. 4. Creating a moodboard. (This solidifies the visual expectations, mood and informs the POC that I am in line with their thoughts for this project). 5. Analyzing prep time, actual production and post-production time and finally conveying expected delivery time of each task. 6. Identifying, Listing, Sourcing relevant props keeping costs within budget. 7. Styling products on shoot day, comparing with references, taking multiple variation shots with the help of photographer and selecting final ones for edit. 8. Suggestions given on cropping, light, corrections, negative space for copy and much more. 9. Receiving feedback and working on any changes. 10. Anxiously waiting for the final work to go live. A few days ago, I had the opportunity to learn about costume fitting. One of my mentors and I decided on a base dress for the Holiday Follies costume, but it was too big for the model and the skirt wasn't the right shape for the design. The model and I arranged a time to meet at the theater so I could fit the dress for her. With the dress on inside-out, my mentor and I pulled and pinned the excess fabric to fit her waist and to make the skirt more of a mermaid style. It was a much quicker process than I expected, but there were a few important things to keep in mind, like ensuring symmetry. Excess fabric had to be pulled equally from all points in order to keep the shape of the garment - otherwise, it would fit oddly and look strange. This was an interesting and useful foray into the world of fit alterations, and I'm so glad my internship has allowed me to experience so many different aspects of costume design. This tutorial shares the steps for a simple dress alteration. https://lnkd.in/gXAkZmVy

Behind the Scenes of Model Photoshoots. Model shoots involve a lot of problem-solving and time management. 1. Building the Dream Team: Just like any grand production, it all starts with assembling the perfect team. However, finding trustworthy models can be quite challenging. It begins with casting calls, requesting the latest portfolio shots, and carefully assessing their current appearance. The goal is to ensure that the model seamlessly fits the shoot's vision. 2. Call Sheet & Time Management: With the team in place, detailed planning takes center stage. A call sheet is distributed to everyone involved, clearly outlining the start times and essential break periods. Crafting a precise shooting schedule is a must. The time of models, makeup artists and hairdressers is valuable and costs a lot. 3. Guardians of Time: In this creative environment, someone must play the role of a timekeeper. Each shot is carefully orchestrated down to the minute. We know when it should start and when it should end. 4. When Trouble Strikes the Clock: However, just when everything appears to be running smoothly, disaster can strike - the model doesn't show up! Quick action is essential. Having the contact numbers of the Model Agency directors readily available can be a lifesaver. Being centrally located ensures that models can reach you promptly, saving the day. Feeling overwhelmed? Catwalk 🐈⬛ Fashion shows are extraordinary events and have been on full display for spring 2024. 🌟 Telling the story of a collection in just a few minutes on the catwalk takes a lot of time and a village to produce. While the whole process is somewhat nervewracking, (and expensive) it is a thrill to see the action backstage and the parade on the runway. I haven’t done a show for a bit but did a lot over the course of a few years in LA, NY, Paris. Having the right team to handle makeup 💄 and hair, stylist, publicity, seating, goodie bags, interviews with journalists, music, lighting, photography is key. 📸 Behind the scenes is where so much of the action takes place. I actually love the behind the scenes work because that’s what I do most of the time to design and produce my work. For me, 👣 walking out onstage and facing the cameras is surreal. I’m somewhat camera shy so for me it took some practice not to feel nervous or want to speedwalk, stop for 1 second, and get out of there. Lol. If I was coming out as a model it would be different. I’ve done a little of that too, it’s like playing a role. But after the finale it’s time for me as the designer to walk out there and have a moment. Surreal or not, I was able to learn to enjoy this part. 🌟 Do the things that challenge you. Here’s to a vibrantly colorful Spring 2024 season, to all the talent onstage and behind the scenes, to the shows that are complete and to the ones ahead. #sustainablefashions #ecoconsciousliving #slowfashionbrand #saveplanetearth #ecofriendlyclothing #instafashions

Fashion companies perhaps you didn’t know about/consider working for 👇🏻 In fashion, we talk a lot about brands and magazines, but you should know that fashion agencies also represent a big part of the industry. You might be familiar with modeling agencies, but did you know fashion agencies also represent other talents such as stylists, photographers, creative directors, and even hair and makeup artists and manicurists? In addition, there are also PR agencies, trend forecasting agencies, and digital/social media agencies. Fashion agencies are always looking for new talent to represent but they also are another career option you can explore if you want to work in fashion. In my recent article, you will learn what are the different fashion agencies and how they operate: https://lnkd.in/dMD49_Xz #fashionjob #fashionschool #fashioncourse #fashionstudent #fashionstudents #fashioncareer #fashioncourses #onlinefashioncourses #fashionjobs #fashioninternships #fashionagency #fashionpr

Communications Strategy | Human-centric Approach | Networker & Connector | Personal Development & Education | Passion for Yoga & Reading
📸 From Fashion Photography to Stakeholder Centricity: A Career Evolution 🎓💼 When I graduated as a Fashion Photographer, I would have never imagined that the skills I acquired behind the lens would become the basis of a stakeholder-centric approach throughout my career: 1️⃣ Effective Communication: During a fashion shoot you are not just writing with light, you are using your voice to give exact directions to eventually see in the frame what you have in mind. Communicating with clarity and intention leads to the best results. 2️⃣ Adaptability: A shoot can be planned to perfection, yet many things can go wrong. When you've booked the location, model, hair & make-up artist, stylist and assistant you still need to deliver results. This has taught me how to be flexible, creative and thrive in challenging circumstances. 3️⃣ Connection: The perfect shot is not just about technical skills when working with models; as a photographer you need to connect with your model, make them feel at ease and build a natural connection. Trust takes time to develop and can be fragile; it's important to consistently demonstrate competence and trustworthy behaviour. 4️⃣ Collaboration: On shoot days you only have a couple of hours to build a team and work towards that common goal: a series of photos that not just the photographer, but everyone involved would add to their portfolio with pride. Successful partnerships are based on mutual respect and common goals. Even if I never pursued a career in fashion photography, the mindset it taught me of creativity, adaptibility and collaboration proves that a creative background can lead to a thriving career in the professional landscape. #StakeholderCentric #CareerJourney #Leadership
