As 2024 rolls in, I find myself embarking on a new professional journey. Here's where I'd typically insert the expected "I'm thrilled" and "incredibly honored" bits. But let's be honest, there are more important things than just that. I've recently started a new role in Retail Concept, one of the core Inter IKEA Group businesses in Delft (Netherlands), a city that promises as much charm as it does challenges. The Customer Experience position is a deliberate choice, aligning with my years of experience and passion for a strategic approach in a new domain. In this role, my focus will be on ensuring that the IKEA concept keeps pace with where customer expectations are heading. Sounds like a tough mission, but simultaneously it's incredibly intriguing and interesting. Approaching this new chapter, I'm aware of the challenges and opportunities it brings. There's a mix of anticipation and a humble acknowledgment that it's a different ballgame.
