🌊 Navigating New Waters! 🌊 I just hit the 5-month mark as a Procurement Officer at Maritime Company, and I couldn't be more thrilled about the journey so far! In this short time, I've gained invaluable insights into the maritime industry, and I've seen firsthand the importance of efficient procurement processes in keeping operations running. I've seen firsthand how intense and dynamic a 24/7 maritime operation can be. And the workload is often intense and unpredictable. You never know when a critical repair a vessel will urgently need. Despite the high demands, there's a sense of excitement and fulfillment that comes with the territory. The ability to adapt, solve complex problems on the fly, and work with a diverse range of people from all over the world makes every day unique. It's a challenging environment, but it's also incredibly rewarding to see the tangible results of your hard work. each day brings a new challenge and opportunity for growth. A big shoutout to my amazing team and mentors who have been incredibly supportive and patient as I learn the ropes. ⚓️ #maritime #procurement #learningandgrowth #teammotivation

Helping small businesses break into the government market | Business Development for Government Contractors
Dear Bidders, Did you know one of the biggest reasons why so many people lose out on contract opportunities? It is how to engage and communicate with procurement officers effectively. One of the basic things you can do to improve your situation is to understand what we call contract vehicles. They are simply procurement methods that facilitate the purchase of goods and services by providing a framework. Contract vehicles are just like different routes to get to your desired destination. You see, in government contracts, you cannot just close a deal using a handshake or word of mouth. Government agencies use these specific contract vehicles to simplify the procurement process. Get a better understanding of the contract vehicles available to you today so you don't let opportunities slip you by like that. 👉 https://bit.ly/3Gp4oTK

A dedicated shipbuilding vendor committed to supporting shipbuilders by efficiently executing projects with high level of quality, safety and adherence to deadlines.l Director of Hico Shipping l
🧑🍼We are told to look for new vendors, said the procurement officer. 👉I had called the procurement officer to inform about the RFQ, we are sending, and the officer said, send on Monday. And also said, there is an issue with your team and we are told to look for new vendors. 🤷♀️I asked, who is the officer and he said the name. 👉I said, I am personally handling your company projects. Just, we finished our jobs on your 4 vessels and the invoices are also submitted. 🧑💻And the officer said, your people are fantastic, when they come the jobs are done well. And when they don't come, the problem stands. 🧏♀️I said, share the number of that officer. 👉I called the project leader, and said, call both the officers and let me know about the issue. 👨The project leader called the procurement officer, he said the same to him. 👨The project leader called the senior officer and he said, the issue had happened, when team was asked to come and they didn't turn in. 👨The project leader said, Sir, officers had called early morning at 7 am to Humera Ma'am and asked to send the team at 9 am in the morning. We informed the same to other seniors as well, how to send the team when the call comes early morning or late evenings. Schedule are planned one day before. 🧑🍼The officer said, i had no information about this. And your latest performances has left no words to speak. We are happy. 🤵♂️The project leader said, Sir; we received the RFQ for other job category, and yesterday had come for that meeting too. 🧑🍼Officer asked, you people do that jobs, and the project leader replied, these are our services, nothing new for us. 🧑🍼And the officer said, Good then , I will inform the procurement officer, not to look for the vendors from outside when we have one. #shipbuilding #shiprepair #shipyard #marine #marineindustry
