So today we found out that Fyre Festival is officially back. As we all know, Fyre Festival was an absolute disaster when it hit the headlines in 2017 after the falsely advertised "luxury festival experience." It's now back for round 2 in 2024. I remember watching the Netflix documentary and learning about the marketing strategy behind Fyre Festival and witnessing amazing hype (everyone knew about it), yet terrible delivery. This was the perfect example of false advertising. Now, I'm curious to see what Billy's new campaign brings for Fyre Festival II. Will it be a complete letdown, or did he learn his lesson in 2017 after the 4 years he spent in jail? I'm so curious. #fyrefestival #marketingstrategy #digitalstrategy #advertising
