Today, Rasesh Patel, President of NRG Consumer, joined a panel called "Checking in on Customer Choice," at the Conference of Regulatory Utility Commissioners. With over half the electricity in the MidAtlantic supplied by competitive retailers, Rasesh and other industry experts discussed the evolving regulatory framework governing retail markets. From assessing customer needs to exploring technological innovations and risk management strategies, the panel fostered dialogue on optimizing customer satisfaction and regulatory effectiveness. "It was an insightful conversation about state-regulated retail markets," Rasesh said. "NRG appreciates the opportunity to share what our customers are asking for and the importance of building regulatory frameworks that support competitive markets." #MACRUC #CustomerChoice
