🌟 Reflecting on ETHCC 2024: Bridging Data Spaces and Web3 Economies We're excited to share insights from our participation at the Oasis Rendez-Vous during #ETHCC2024 in Brussels. Our Co-Founder, Albert Peci, contributed to a thought-provoking panel on "Unlocking Value: Real World Asset Tokenization", alongside Jeff K from Axelar Network, Dennis D. from Midas, and Antoine Loth from Euler Labs. The panel was moderated by Matej Janež from Oasis. Key Takeaways: 1. Open Data Economy: We introduced the concept of "data spaces" as a new primitive in the Web3 ecosystem, alongside DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, Metaverse, and SSI. 2. Tokenization of Data Assets: We discussed how tokenizing datasets, algorithms, compute, and storage enables an open data economy. 3. Regulatory Compliance: deltaDAO's approach of "voucherizing" data sets and algorithms aligns with European regulations while offering data as a product. 4. Real-World Impact: Like stablecoins in DeFi, tokenized real-world assets bring tangible use cases to distributed ledger technology. 5. Democratization: Tokenization of real-world assets could improve trustlessness and democratization at large. Albert Peci summed it up: “To truly harness the power of an open data economy, it is essential to first secure full ownership and control over the fundamental asset: the data itself” We're thrilled to be at the forefront of this innovative space, merging data sovereignty with distributed ledger technology.
