The Nobel Centre in Stockholm has opted to use evoZero for its upcoming construction.   evoZero® is a new cement that goes beyond the usual standards. It allows us to produce concrete without a carbon footprint, making it the first of its kind on the market. A fabrication milestone for Carbon Clean on FlagshipONE! The module assembly process has begun, with the first piece of equipment now mounted on the structural steel of the first module. To celebrate this achievement, we welcomed the Mayor of Vila-seca Mr Pere Segura Xatruch, Andreas Bartels from Ørsted and Constant Ngogang from Liquid Wind, among other guests and project partners, at the Schwartz-Hautmont fabrication yard in Spain where our CaptureX semi-modular technology for this project is being fabricated. Carbon Clean's technology will be capable of capturing 70,000 tonnes of biogenic CO2 per year for Ørsted’s facility in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. FlagshipONE is a perfect example of utilisation – the ‘U’ in #CCUS. ➡️ FlagshipONE is Europe’s largest commercial-scale #eMethanol facility under construction. ➡️ It will supply up to 55,000 tonnes of eMethanol per year to the #shipping industry, which today accounts for around 3% of global carbon emissions. Yesterday the Norwegian roadmap 2.0 for the green industrial initiative, was launched. The initial version from 2022, was to give a green industrial boost which shows objectives, ambitions, assumptions, opportunities and challenges, and how the Norwegian government will facilitate framework conditions for a green industrial boost. With the road map, the government wants to make visible to companies and investors the benefits of adding green projects to Norway. The new version adds amongst others two industries (manufacturing and solar) and enhanced partnerships with other countries. https://lnkd.in/dx-ahqZY

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱’𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 🪵 🌬️ Germany has installed the world’s first wooden wind turbine blades, designed by Voodin Blade Technology. These blades promise to reduce CO2 emissions by 78% and cut production costs by 20% compared to traditional blades. The laminated veneer lumber blades are more sustainable and easier to recycle. Despite efforts to recycle epoxy-based blades, Voodin’s blades offer a completely biodegradable solution. The wooden blades, which are more durable than composite materials, have been installed in Breuna, Germany, with plans for larger prototypes underway. 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: Modern Cleaning Technology: We've replaced a two-decade-old system with a state-of-the-art cleaning line. This new system features an intelligently controlled six-sided high-pressure cleaner that guarantees consistent, superior cleaning results while optimizing water and energy use. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚: A 17-meter-long dedicated space for repairing alkus panels and a water-guided grinding system enhance our capability to sustainably manage formwork maintenance. Green Energy: The photovoltaic system installed on our facility’s roof is a testament to MEVA's commitment to sustainability, significantly reducing our carbon footprint by powering operations with green electricity. 💧 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: The overhaul has not only modernized operations but has also boosted our annual output, with over 100,000 m² of formwork elements processed — each inspected, cleaned, and regenerated as needed. 75% of our energy at Draxton China is already green! 💚 Our commitment to #sustainability is for real. This 2024, we raised our green energy percentage from 3.5% in 2023 to 75%. This achievement is the direct result of a strategic agreement with Anhui Huadian Wuhu Power Generation Co. Ltd, which provides us with green energy backed by its iRECs or Guarantees of Origin. In addition, we have taken an extra step by placing solar panels in our foundry and machining workshops. 🌞🔋 At Draxton, we strongly believe in the power of collective action to create a greener, more prosperous future. KG Sustainability Report for Fiscal Year 2022   In a year marked by geopolitical challenges and market volatility, Stahlwerk Annahütte (SAH), our mother company, stood firm in its commitment to sustainability.   Energy Independence: The two hydropower plants, SAH I and SAH II, now cover nearly half of the factory’s electricity needs. Last year, SAH expanded its capacities further by constructing a photovoltaic system. In response to rising energy prices, SAH has also switched to completely renewable electricity sourced from German plants, making our operations CO₂-neutral since 2022.   Product Innovation: Sustainability is embedded in our product strategy. We’ve significantly reduced material usage in various anchor systems while maintaining performance characteristics. Customers often ask what is ebalta Kunststoff GmbH contribution to sustainability and key measures to reduce CO2 emissions. In January 2021 ebalta was certified as a carbon-neutral company Our goal is to keep our ecological footprint as low as possible. The remaining CO2 emissions are covered by annual investments in climate protection projects, such as the Kinnaur hydroelectric project and the Togo oil mill project We are focused on research and development of recycled polyols use of renewable raw materials as castor oil, sugar, sunflower oil or lignin for e.g. SG 700, gel coats and ebaboard 0800. In addition the cutting residues from board processing are processed into briquettes and used as fillers for resin boards Our goal is a climate-neutral production of individual products, this involves drawing up a product carbon footprint (PCF). Currently, our casting resin VP GM 1914 for the production of climbing holds is already certified climate neutral, the product contains over 40% renewable raw materials. Finally at our production plant in Germany we have Photovoltaic system on the roofs,100 % green electricity and all lamps are supplied with LED. In addition we have hybrid cars as company cars, Get to Work Carbon Neutral: Bicycle leasing program for employees and heat recovery of the exhaust air through heat exchangers.
