🌿 #FYI For Your Innovation: Giving New Life to Our Foam 🔄 What are we doing in practice? We produce foam packaging at the Montrichard plant, generating 20 tons of waste annually. And if that wasn't enough, the way we handle this waste is at odds with Daher's new commitments towards sustainability. In 2022, following an internal call for projects initiated by Imagineering by Daher (another employee initiative and we’re proud of it! 🙌), the project was selected as one of the winners. Time to spring into action! To achieve this, we partnered with Re-vert , a startup that specializes in the study and implementation of cross-sectoral and local supply chains. With the support of our on-site teams, the final presentation took place last week, allowing us to: - Explore 11 potential avenues; - Consider short- and medium-term solutions; - Outline a stronger collaboration framework with some of our partners. Of course, this is just the beginning. We need to continue our reflections, and we're on the right track! The same approach is applied to our glass wool waste from the production of our insulation mattresses in Brais.
