Comment below! 👇 What was one of your biggest achievements in your professional career? I’ll start…… When I first joined Konecranes, my team felt like it was us against the world. I was faced with a few statements that I was determined to prove wrong. 1. "You'll have pretty high turnover with this group; you'll be lucky to last a year as well." 2. "This area never gets over $X amount a year in revenue." 3. "This group never takes part in the annual Christmas dinner. Maybe 2-3 techs will show up, but that's it." After my first 2 years, we only had 1 person leave, and that was because they were moving to another state. In the first 3 years, we increased our revenue by 21-35% and never fell below the initial threshold that we were told we would never exceed. But the greatest accomplishment I believe I achieved was our first Christmas party after my first full year. Every single tech we had and their families showed up to our dinner, Over 25 individuals! Through servant leadership, deliberate actions to take care of my people, sticking my neck out for them when they might not have deserved it, and a strong will to see them succeed, I fostered an environment where they felt cared for and appreciated. To me, that's worth more than revenue. That’s my greatest achievement.

It’s been my first year anniversary, and I can loudly confirm: what a year! I wish I could tell you it was super easy but I would lie. Every day is a new challenge, new cultures, new adventures. I have been to places that I used to look only in maps. Today I celebrate 25 years at Scania! Much is of course the same as when I joined; successful company, premium products and fantastic colleagues. But a lot is also different. I still remember when I received the first invitation to a meeting via email and when we were almost half the size we are today. The reasons why you choose to stay at a company can vary over time such as interesting assignments and roles, development opportunities, good managers, nice colleagues, healthy work environment and interesting products and services and so on.. but "the oil (or the battery!) ) in the machinery” are the values. Without clear, reasonable and challenging values, it is difficult to hang on. Will the company be the same in another 25 years, well who knows, but for sure, you ain't seen nothing yet! Looking back at my journey, working for quite around 18 years and just celebrated 7th year in Schaeffler. Every hurdle is a stepping stone moulding me the person I am now. Learning more about myself, figuring out what matters and looking on where my place is and will have an impact too. Lessons Learnt: ▪️ Having ownership and autonomy gives me a sense of fulfilment and being involved, hands on, getting my hands dirty is what I love while learning. ▪️ Making an impact and being seen is also crucial. Being an Alpha female has pros and cons working in a male-dominated workplace. But women need to speak up more. I do recognised how important women are present at the table. And lift other women up to such positions. ▪️My experiences also taught me that everyone’s journey is different. There’s no “one” timeline for achieving our goals and dreams. ▪️People come and go. There’s always a reason for these meet ups. To help us out, learn from, motivate and inspire us. I am blessed to have a lot of mentors who really plays a big role on who I am. We are limitless and we are all in a journey to become more of we are meant to be. All it takes is finding your voice, your purpose and evolving to its full potential. Lastly, finding that mustard seed of faith and everything else follows with divine connection and purpose.

Celebrating My 2nd Anniversary at Avon Medical Practice Limited Today marks a significant milestone in my career—two years at Avon Medical Practice Limited. Reflecting on this journey, I am deeply grateful for the opportunities and challenges I’ve encountered. Here are the key lessons I’ve learned along the way: God First: Make God your pillar. Be thankful for every moment, whether good or challenging. Seek His guidance before embarking on any assignment, familiar or not. Trusting in Him has been a constant source of strength for me. Observe and Digest Before Acting: This principle has made my journey smoother. As a leader, it’s crucial not to rush decisions. Take time to think through the potential consequences. It’s perfectly fine to say, "Let me get back to you on this," when you’re uncertain. Taking a moment to reflect doesn’t show weakness but wisdom. Continuous Learning and Wealth of Experience: I have learned immensely from my colleagues, both within my field and in related areas. Brainstorming sessions have often pushed me back to the drawing board, sparking growth and new ideas. The Internal Audit Community of Practice at the Group level has been instrumental in enhancing my knowledge and skills. Lastly, step outside your comfort zone. Success often lies beyond familiar territory. While venturing into the unknown may be daunting at first, it leads to growth and improvement. "Standing on the shoulders of giants" The time has flown past and my 2nd anniversary at Chainalysis has arrived and this led me to thinking about my time at Chainalysis and why I am still very happy working here. During my work, I constantly evaluate the processes and tasks I need to go through to ensure I am delivering on my role. This is a subconscious approach that I have done for my entire working life. Asking myself questions like, “how much effort is this task?”, “can I streamline this approach?”, “what is missing for what I provide to my clients/customers?”. Because of this, I am always trying to identify the gaps and needless processes that can be shorn up or simplified. Sometimes this leads me to discover where an organisation might have gaps in providing the best value for their customers. Since working at Chainalysis, I have noticed that any identified “gaps” have been so cleanly resolved, worked on or already have a solution in place. For example, turning around to ask my colleague the question, “can we do X?” To find that not only do we have an answer to the question, but we built a tool to make it easier for people to answer that question themselves. Working at Chainalysis is easy, there is no chasing for problems to be solved, the people I work with already have the answers and empower me so that now I can answer the question myself. Making my life easier. The people I work with ensure that I am able to deliver the best value to my clients and customers. There are too many people to name here who help facilitate my role.  I am so very thankful to all of them.  Because of them, I truly understand what it means to stand on the shoulders of giants.
