Don't let the unrealistic 1st year OTE of £100k+ or "regular employee incentives" in the Job description mislead you. To avoid getting misled into a slave-like sales job, take the following steps: - Research past employees' expereince on Job review sites like; GlassDoor, Indeed, The Job Crowd or Work Advisor. - Ask open-ended and detailed questions to the Recruiter/ Talent manager before you engage with any hiring managers. -Do not be afraid to interview the interviewer; it's as much about making sure it's the right fit for you as it is for them! - Consider your long-term career goals and if this opportunity aligns with these goals. #salesjobs #careeradvice

Recruiter: "Why did you apply for this role?" Candidate: "I want more career progression" (we can do a lot better) This question actually has two parts P. 1) Why do you want this specific role and P. 2) Why do you want to work at this specific company In this video, I give you an example of how to answer this question using this formula: A) A personal reason you like this company so much B) How their ambitious growth goals align with your own C) How the elements of this specific role match your experience and/or interests #skilltribe #saascareers #saassales

Since 2001 I have been supporting Medical Device/MedTech companies in the UK in the building of their sales, marketing, clinical support and executive teams.
As we enter the last part of the year, have you considered your medical sales career journey and where it stands today? The professional landscape has undergone substantial transformations in recent years, particularly with the widespread adoption of remote and hybrid work models. This shift has sparked intense competition for talent, leading many companies to engage in a salary battle, where enticing offers are extended to new hires and counteroffers are made to retain existing employees. It might be the right time to reassess your career path in the medical sales sector 🤔💡 We've compiled a comprehensive career checklist to assist you in this self-evaluation. It will help you determine whether you're on the right trajectory or if it's time to consider significant career decisions. Access the full report by clicking here -> https://lnkd.in/e-Dhbc_y

Flexible / hybrid working 🏡 𝟮. Fair, transparent, and competitive salaries, and for sales roles, clear and realistic commission structures. 💷 𝟯. A positive and trusting environment to work in. 🤗 If you are offering the above, I am positive you will have talented people interested in working for you business. ✅ If not, maybe this is something to think about. 💭 Does your business offer all the above? 🤔 #hiring #hiringmanagers #recruiting #recruitingnow #recruitingtips #recruitmenttips

🕵♀️ I empower new businesses by organizing their workflows, resources, budgets/finances & projects to increase scalability | Ran a successful coaching business for 3.5 years & grew revenue 10x YOY | Send me a DM
Watching your company hire new people at a higher salary with no chance of a raise or a promotion for yourself… Can be maddening. I work with professionals who continually work hard and take on more tasks than their coworkers, but they don’t get the raises they deserve. The company simply may not want to out in effort to maintain the talent they do already have! -They are always the first to log on and last to log off -They say yes to tasks that are outside of their job description -They don’t feel respected by their leaders -They feel like they need a change but they don’t know how They are amazing candidates, but the idea of looking for a new job (even though all the signs are there that it’s time to move on) scares them. They end up feeling lost when trying to figure out what steps they need to take to regain control of their careers and to find a new job. Wouldn’t it feel amazing to find a new role where you can continue growing and learning while making more? To know the steps to accelerate your career to that next level? It’s possible, you just have to take control of your job search instead of just passively applying to roles! In just a few short weeks, you can feel fully confident that you have the tools to find a better job that is better aligned with your values and your worth. If you are a professional who works really hard but feels overlooked constantly, and you are looking for that extra tool in your toolbelt. Send me a DM with the words “Toolbelt” and I’ll share the details with you about how we can work together. #careeracceleration #hiring #jobsearch #promotion #raise

66% of workers feel attracted to organizations that base decisions on skills 📊 Think about what would make you want to work for an organization. If leaders would only look at your job profile and degrees, you'd likely feel little motivation to continue growing. These factors are, after all, checkboxes you've already completed. I want to grow my career. Not be looked at solely for having the right piece of paper or job title. Luckily the majority is with me. Employers should be making decisions on the skills we exercise at work and the potential to learn new skills that can help the organization grow. From experience completing a study in an unrelated field has added little to my everyday role in sales. Instead, it's on-the-job experience and skills acquired through learning and practice that helped me get to where I am. #skills #careers #jobs #opportunity

Winners always find a way to Win🥇 Winning Teams are the best at finding People💯 The landscape business offers an unbelievable opportunity for those who get it right. Success is a recipe. The simplest way to see it is to understand that the better you are at attracting the best customers and the best employees, the more likely you are to succeed. So focus here!!! Your hiring process and your sales process dictate you level of success. Many other things need to be optimized downstream of these two factors but you need to start with these two things. If you are better at attracting great people than your competitors you will inevitably become a better company over time, since great people bring great ideas and knowledge into your company. The Hiring Process is a game changer!!! A structured hiring process helps companies find the right candidates efficiently by assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit. It minimizes bias, ensures legal compliance, and improves the chances of making successful hires so you can build a team of true landscape professionals that can perform safely, effectively, and efficiently in your absence. You need the right people around you to win. #hiring #landscapecrew #trades #apprentice

- Hire people who can figure things out, not people who know everything. - Hire people who can work alone and with others. - Hire people for where they're going, not where they are. That means #hiring for the ability and desire to grow, learn and improve. *Bonus* When trying to hire someone, it’s unlikely that their ultimate goal is the job you're offering. If you want to close them you need to be able to communicate: 1) how this role will help them on their path 2) how you're going to personally support their growth #career
