Don't let the unrealistic 1st year OTE of £100k+ or "regular employee incentives" in the Job description mislead you. To avoid getting misled into a slave-like sales job, take the following steps: - Research past employees' expereince on Job review sites like; GlassDoor, Indeed, The Job Crowd or Work Advisor. - Ask open-ended and detailed questions to the Recruiter/ Talent manager before you engage with any hiring managers. -Do not be afraid to interview the interviewer; it's as much about making sure it's the right fit for you as it is for them! - Consider your long-term career goals and if this opportunity aligns with these goals. #salesjobs #careeradvice

If leaders would only look at your job profile and degrees, you'd likely feel little motivation to continue growing. These factors are, after all, checkboxes you've already completed. I want to grow my career. Not be looked at solely for having the right piece of paper or job title. Luckily the majority is with me. Employers should be making decisions on the skills we exercise at work and the potential to learn new skills that can help the organization grow. From experience completing a study in an unrelated field has added little to my everyday role in sales.
