She delivered an insightful presentation on low-carbon value chains and emerging market opportunities. Last year, global upstream natural gas production exceeded 4,000 billion cubic meters, which is expected to increase further. At Rystad Energy, we have thoroughly assessed the emissions associated with coal-to-power and LNG-to-power lifecycles. 🌍Last week Oliver Schirok was talking about Hydrogen aspects at this year’s ECC TSO workshop in Leipzig. Gas and Electricity TSOs came together to discuss challenges and future aspects of the markets. Oliver was emphasizing that harmonization is a key factor for future developments and that more discussions will be needed including possible public consultations. 🔎The workshop is designed for TSOs that are partners of ECC.
