3 things that I implore you to remember this Pride season. 1. Allyship is wonderful, but it is something earned, not just claimed. If you say that you are an ally, you must back that up with more than words. It must be backed up with actions. 2. Remember that being out is a privilege. To all who are unable to be out for whatever reason, or who choose to remain private about your situations, you are still valid and you still deserve to have pride. This elder-queer loves and supports you. <3 3. Please remember that while it is wonderful and AMAZING to support small and independent queer artists during Pride season and beyond, not everyone has the financial stability and privilege to do so, and purchasing a small trinket from a big box store may be cheaper, easier, and more accessible for some folx and that is OK. Don't shame people for it, because you don't know their experience or what they are going through. Also, those public corporate displays? They often matter to people who cannot be out for their own reasons. So absolutely celebrate independently, responsibly, etc. But have patience and grace for all. Happy Pride, everyone!
🏳️🌈 Pride is more than a month of celebrations and recognition of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s a protest and a fight for equality. It’s collaboration and support across other marginalized communities. It’s for our future and our safety. This Pride season, we continue our mission to create safe and inclusive schools for our LGBTQ+ youth, and we encourage you to join us and Rise Up with Pride. ➡️ Visit glsen.org/pride to learn how you can Rise Up today! . . . 🌈 Celebrating Diversity in the Workplace 🌟 In today's ever-evolving business landscape, diversity and inclusion are not just buzzwords – they're essential components of success. As a commercial professional, I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact that a company's commitment to recognizing and giving visibility to the LGBT community can have on its culture, productivity, and bottom line. From my personal experience S&P Global understands that embracing diversity isn't just the right thing to do – it's the smart thing to do. By fostering an environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work, we unleash the full potential of our team and drive innovation like never before. When employees feel supported and included, they are more engaged, motivated, and loyal. By championing diversity in all its forms, we attract top talent from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, enriching our company culture and fueling our competitive advantage. The commitment to diversity goes beyond mere rhetoric – it's ingrained in everything we do. From the inclusive hiring practices to employee resource groups and allyship initiatives, S&P Global is dedicated to creating a workplace where everyone can thrive, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. As we celebrate Pride Month, let's not just pay lip service to diversity and inclusion – let's take tangible action to build a more equitable and inclusive world for all. Together, we can create workplaces where everyone belongs and where diversity is not just accepted, but celebrated. Join us in making a difference – because when we embrace diversity, we all win. 🏳️🌈 #PrideAtWork #DiversityAndInclusion #InclusiveCulture #PrideMonth #spglobal #spdji #spmexico

Celebrating Pride Month helps LGBTQ+ identifying youth and adults feel safe and welcome within your home, school, Club or community. Plus, creating a safe place where people can be themselves benefits all – when people see others included, they are more likely to feel included, too. This month, we stand proud and united to commemorate Pride Month, a celebration of love, diversity, acceptance, and self-expression. This is not just a time to acknowledge the struggles and victories of the LGBTQ+ community but also to reflect on the importance of creating a more inclusive and empathetic society. As we celebrate Pride, let us also remember the importance of allyship. Being an ally means supporting and standing up for the rights of those who identify as LGBTQ+. It means creating safe spaces at work and in our communities where everyone can be their authentic selves. It requires constant learning, understanding, and committing to equality and justice. This Pride month—and all year round—let's strive to spread love, promote inclusivity, and uplift each other. Because when one of us succeeds, we all do. How are you celebrating Pride month and promoting inclusivity in your community? #PrideMonth #Inclusivity #Allyship

This month, let’s not just celebrate Pride. Let’s RADIATE Pride! In many ways, this is a tough moment for the Queer community. Extremists forces are trying to dim our light. But even in the moments that feel overwhelming and filled with doubt, we can still demonstrate solidarity and unity. We can speak up and speak out. And like we have always done, we can outshine and persevere. Here’s what you can do: 🌈To those who identify as LGBTQ+: Radiate Pride by wrapping yourself in our community. Queer joy is powerful. Queer resilience is real. When we work together, our community is unstoppable. 🌈To company and organization leaders: Radiate Pride by focusing on the future. Right now, it may seem easy to downplay and deprioritize the values of DEI. I’d ask you to look past this moment—and lean into what’s ahead. 🌈To allies: Remember, you have an important role to play in pushing our movement forward. Radiate Pride by supporting the LGBTQ+ community all year round. Together, we can build a world where everyone belongs. An excellent post on how, Allies, corporations and those in the community can work to continue to move forward on progress in spite of the negative forces confronting us. Now more than ever, companies need to double down on and publically reinforce their commitments to diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace policies and positions. Those that do will attract and retain the top talent needed to take them into a successful future.
