At the core of ProCon sites, is a work environment where safety isn't just a priority but a way of life. Green-helmeted heroes walks among us, making safety visible 🪖 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐒𝐄 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬. These guardians of the workplace are more than just safety enforcers – they are the heart and soul of our commitment to ensuring everyone goes home safely. 🍃 𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺, 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 🍃 Their efforts in enhancing visibility and championing more safety registrations have created a ripple effect of awareness and accountability. "𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞? 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤" is the principle that guides us, a powerful reminder that safety begins with each one of us. Our forward-thinking safety strategy has led to 22 registrations to the UK site in the first quarter, reflecting our proactive safety culture. While our goal is to reduce these instances, their occurrence underscores our dedication to transparency and early detection of potential safety issues. Our HIT Card program was created to keep our greatest assets—our employees—top of mind. It creates a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and accountability for team members (of any level) to identify safety concerns and allows our teams to be involved in performing job safety observations and participating in risk assessment. DWS Safety, Operations, Training, and Maintenance departments review HIT Cards each month to recognize five outstanding contributors who help keep our job sites safe. 👏 Let's give these dedicated team members a big round of applause! #SafetyWeek 🦺 Because we care for our people, safety is at the centre of our activities and concerns. It is a daily fight. 🫸 It is also a moment of sharing to remind every employee of the importance of being uncompromising in the application of safety rules to achieve our “Zero Accident” objective.🎯 This year, the theme chosen is on the risks associated with last-minute changes, unusual conditions or taking the initiative. Why this theme❓ When we analyze the causes of our serious accidents or accidents that could have been serious - the high potential for severity, we find that very often they occur after a last-minute change that was not taken into account in the execution of the tasks to be carried out. How to make a step change? ✅By preparing the activities: make a high-quality starter every day. Without a starter, there's no activity! ✅Identifying changes in relation to what was planned ✅Taking time to adapt to these changes, with new risk controls in place if needed, so that work can be resumed safely We all have a right & duty to say STOP when safety conditions are not assured. 🫸 Together, let's stop, think and act for safety!👌 #SafetyWeek #WeActForPeople #ColasRailCares #OneSafety
