I’ve been banging on about eating food closest to its natural state and avoiding UPFs for years!! In fact well before it became fashionable and every one is on it 🤣 . I don’t count calories, I’ve got enough going on in my life 🤣 I simply do this: . - eat food closest to its natural state - train most days, a good mix throughout the week - don’t overeat except birthdays & Christmas - chew my food and eat slowly - stay hydrated - enjoy alcohol in moderation (most of the time 😉) . That is the basis to how I keep my weight and stats healthy & myself sane!! It is THAT SIMPLE!! No craziness!! Just consistency!! . You already know how to count calories, so how come you keep going over your targets? I’ll tell you why, and there’s usually 3 reasons: 1. You’re eating low-quality, high-calorie food because it’s convenient and it often sends you hurtling over your calorie target. 2. Your calories are far too low and unrealistic to stick to, so you go over constantly. 3. You might know how to track calories, but your knowledge around nutrient density and the quality of your food is lacking and that lends itself to you consistently breaking your calorie targets - you don’t know what you don’t know, hey?! …and on top of all of that, Having nobody to turn to, Nobody to hold you accountable to your goals can’t exactly help the situation. How to Eat Healthy On A Budget🤑💫 My total was $83 for 5 days (10 meals) which I think is cheaper than the typical American diet. When you eat out and door dash, your food can easily cost $12-15 a meal coming out to $120-150 a week! And that’s for junk food! There is no doubt healthier foods can cost more than junk food, but if you do it right, you can end up saving yourself money while eating better!
