As a person with moderate qualifications and over 40, I am on a quest to rectify a "law" that is being abused not only in Texas but other states as well. There is a LAW regarding age hiring discriminations and it has been skimmed around on job applications to the point that if you do not give your birthdate and graduation date online you cannot go any further with a job application because the hiring company has made it a "requirement" to be filled out. I found recently that "All Plastics" in Kerrville Texas, and even Hobby Lobby's job applications online are this way. I know there are plenty of other jobs with this requirement also. This needs to be looked into further because skirting around the law is exactly what these companies are doing. There should be, if anything, a place asking if you are 40 or older. No dates required. You should be judged by your merits, background qualifications and nothing more..., not your age, race, sex, etc. Not whether you can... * Lift 10 lbs. or 30 lbs. * Crawl around a file cabinet or desk on your hands and knees. * Twist your little boodie for the boss...! If your background is everything the job requires, and you are called in for an interview that is time enough for the company to decide whether you can "do the job". Something needs to be done about "ALL" types of discrimination and there is no way you can prove discrimination if you answer these required questions truthfully. The hiring company can just decide on their own whether you are the right age, sex, etc. The questions should not be allowed on a job application. This is the laws responsibility. Take care of it!

Altumint helps make communities safer. How many times have you seen a motorist fail to stop for a school bus stop arm? Or speed through a school zone during school hours? I know I have. And to be honest, as a mother, it makes me angry. To have this solution available to help modify motorists behavior, potentially saves lives. Tough question to ask, but what is your child's life worth? I encourage you to speak with your local law enforcement agency on how Altumint's solutions can make YOUR community safer. https://lnkd.in/e_zfxA8D

General Counsel Karla Gilbride was appointed in 2023 to serve as the General Counsel of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). In November 2023, I reached out to General Counsel Gilbride to ask for justice. Specifically, my concern was the use of #EEOC #offices in #NewYorkCity after I experienced abuse at Steven Winter Associates in 2018. On November 4th, 2023, General Counsel Gilbride allowed me to provide documentations. See, General Counsel, my case demonstrates Steven Winter Associates had backdoor access to EEOC. Because the United States does have a form of central planning driven by an industrial complex (ie.: The Inflation Act), and therefore, certain firms and individuals like Steven Winter Associates and Bright Power, Inc. are given certain immunity. Further, I contacted multiple law firms in 2018 in New York City. They dropped my case because a senior partner had informed the associate - as a result, I had no access to legal aid or the courts. I do not have a law degree, General Counsel Gilbride. Though, I believe - even if I am Canadian, the State of New York violated my 14th Amendment rights. Also, I found the infographic from a Royal Canadian Mounted Police | Gendarmerie royale du Canada investigations showing money laundered across Canada since 2019. It got me thinking - since there is an urgency to address election interference. If Steven Winter Associates and the The Passive House Network have a backdoor access to institutions like the EEOC - I mean, NYSERDA intervened directly in fabricating documentation against me. Also, if the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating KSK Construction Group for alleged involvement of the Turkish government’s illegal contribution to NYC’s mayor’s campaign. If KSK is a sponsor and linked to PH, does this not mean the Turkish government, through a degree of separation, has access to not only the EEOC but also NYSERDA? I mean NYSERDA was used target me - and I am trying to develop an AI-driven communication protocol for our power grid. These backdoor channels pretty much make the United States' democracy vulnerable. Canada too. It means nearly every single one our institutions are separated by a degree or two - giving access to potential foreign governments, terrorist organizations, or other criminal entities. It also makes our intelligence officer’s work extra difficult and more dangerous. Sure - the United States' economic mechanism is driven by creating a large industrial complex. But by providing certain individuals and corporations access to these channels - we also expose the democracy of the United States of America to all those who hate her and her freedom. All you need is someone who understands personality ego development, and how society responds to certain stimuli, and you can use a mouse to take down an entire elephant. Then you add machine learning and #AI - blah. Here is the article: https://lnkd.in/eY4HeJrx
Are you a leader with excellent management, organizational, multitasking and interpersonal skills who cares deeply about equal employment opportunity, or do you know of such a person? Then please apply, or tell them to apply, for this senior-level position at EEOC managing the agency's Office of Field Programs. The person in this position leads the investigative staff and administrative law judges throughout the EEOC's 15 districts ; coordinates our relationships with state, local and tribal fair employment practice agencies; and oversees our vital outreach and education efforts. In short, it's a position that's crucial to the EEOC's success, and I hope mission-driven, transformational leaders will consider applying. The job announcement closes on February 23. https://lnkd.in/eG7bPVYM

In California, employers have the discretion to decide whether or not to hire a candidate. This means that they can assess job applicants based on various factors such as qualifications, experience, skills, and cultural fit, and then make a hiring decision accordingly. However, it’s important to note that employers in California, like in many other jurisdictions, must comply with anti-discrimination laws that prohibit #discrimination on the basis of protected characteristics such as race, gender, age, religion, disability, and more. #suits #lawyerlife #passingthebar #becamealawyer #barexam #hiring #employmentlaw
