Who's felt this way? 🙋♀️ Before making a change within the company, I like to ponder on the repercussions of the change, openly discuss ideas for implementation rewards to making the change, and keep transparency among everyone in the company. This can help the culture to lean into the change. 🙂
How about we update that process 🤷♂️

I absolutely agree with this sentiment ✅ and believe it’s important to remember❗️: 🌟 Don't Be Shy About These Four Things 🌟 1️⃣ Old Clothes: They’re comfortable and full of memories. It’s not about the brand, but the stories they carry. 2️⃣ Poor Friends: True friendship isn’t measured by wealth. Cherish loyal friends who stand by you. 3️⃣ Simple Living: Find joy in simplicity. Less clutter means more clarity and fulfillment. 4️⃣ Old Parents: Honor and care for those who gave you their best years. 📣I’d like to add three more points: 5️⃣ Learning New Skills: It's never too late to learn. Every new skill enriches your life. 6️⃣ Seeking Help: Asking for help shows strength and self-awareness. 7️⃣ Expressing Emotions: Be authentic with your feelings. It fosters deeper connections. Life’s true values are found in simplicity and authenticity. Let’s embrace and celebrate these aspects unapologetically! 💪💖 #LifeLessons #Gratitude #Simplicity #Respect #ContinuousLearning #Support #Authenticity

This image is an oldie but a goodie 🙌. As I reflect on my own leadership journey spanning several decades, I often think about the nature of success. We tend to admire the shining achievements of our colleagues, their rapid ascents, and their seemingly effortless triumphs. But what we don't see is the depth of their struggles, the sacrifices they've made, and the resilience they've mustered along the way. Here's what I've learned: 1. Every Path is Unique: I've learned that comparing our progress to others is like comparing apples to oranges. Each of us walks a path shaped by different experiences and challenges. Perhaps they had mentors or support systems that played a pivotal role, or they've honed skills that are still on your to-do list. Understanding this has been a game-changer for me. 2. The Hidden Hardships: In my years of leading teams, I've witnessed firsthand that success is rarely a straight line. It's a winding road filled with setbacks, disappointments, and hard-won lessons. Remember, for every achievement that makes it into the spotlight, there are countless hours of unseen effort and perseverance. 3. Acknowledging Your Strengths: It's easy to focus on areas where others excel, overlooking our own unique strengths. In my career, I've realized that for every domain where a colleague shines, there's an area where my abilities make a difference. Recognizing and valuing our own talents is crucial in painting a more accurate picture of our journey. As leaders, it's empowering to share not just our successes but the challenges that shaped us. Doing so not only inspires our teams but also makes us more relatable and connected. Remember, what we often see in others is just the tip of a vast iceberg, as we see in the image below. The true essence of leadership lies beneath the surface, in the perseverance, dedication, and resilience that define our journeys. #leadershipreflections #leadershiplessons #successjourney #corporate #leadership Sylvia Duckworth (I love your illustrations!)
