I was sitting around the dinner table a couple of nights ago with some friends and we were talking about wine 🍷 and saying about how a Sommelier is an expert at their job and how important it is to keep using their knowledge and experience when you buy or taste wine as they know what they’re talking about and also to have that personal recommendation. Everybody around the dinner table agreed that they would rather use an expert in their field to guide them to make the right decisions to make the most of their meal. It got me thinking that it’s no different with what I do. Yes you can book online and potentially save a few pounds, trawling through Trip Advisor reviews to pick out a negative, arriving in a Monsoon season or to a hotel that isn’t quite what it seems. If you use me I would ask lots of questions to find out what you really love and what is important to your holiday and straight away when you’re answering the questions different resorts, destinations and hotels spring to mind This is because I do this all day and every day, have real life experience of a lot of places and have sent hundreds of clients away on holiday with real reviews. I wouldn’t send any of my clients on a holiday I wouldn’t go on myself and make sure that the hotel know you’re one of my VIP clients and take care of everything for you leaving you to just pack, turn up and have an amazing holiday. Moral of the story is to use a multi award winning travel expert for your next adventure 😊😊 #expert #luxurytravel #luxurytraveladvisor #experience

So great to see Croatian’s most visited travel experience products are considering exploring online channels for getting online bookings. Last week I had a great chat in one of Croatia's well-known wineries. Simple steps to get more guests: ◾ Add a booking engine so guests can book wine tours. ◾ Guests will book a wine-tasting tour and buy a few more bottles. ◾ Connect with hotels. Send them a referral link to start with. ◾ They will send your guests to you, and get a commission. Winemakers will get more bookings and more sold bottles. ◾ Guests will post social media posts and do the marketing for them. This does not happen overnight, but it does not take ages, only a few days to make the first steps. P.S. Shout out to 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲. Just spotted some of their bottles in one of my favorite restaurants.

🌟 Did You Know? Michelin Stars & Road Trips 🚗 You know those Michelin Stars that fine-dining restaurants boast about? They're a mark of culinary excellence, sure, but did you know they were originally created for a different reason altogether? 🤔 The Michelin Guide, the origin of the Michelin Star system, was first published by the Michelin tire company in 1900. Yes, you read that right—a TIRE company! 🚗 The guide was originally intended to encourage more road trips by offering useful info like maps, tire repair instructions, and lists of accommodations. In short, Michelin wanted people to wear out their tires by traveling more so they’d have to buy new ones! Clever, isn't it? 😄 Fast forward to today, and the Michelin Guide is now the holy grail of culinary ratings. A three-star rating is the highest honour, signifying "exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey." 🌟🌟🌟 So, the next time you're enjoying a Michelin-starred meal, remember you're not just experiencing fine dining—you're also part of a long history that began with the simple joy of hitting the open road. 🛣️ Happy Eating and Safe Travels! ✨🍲🗺️ #MichelinStar #FunFacts #RoadTrips #FineDining #Travel #FoodForThought
