💪 Did you know that we now have an "integrated solution" to propose to all Dutch and Belgian medical centers to have their HASA OPTIX Belgium used instruments collected and recycled ? 👉 This is long path and not an easy one as regulations are complex and volumes are still low, however at HASA, we have decided to make it happen by installing green bins in the OR's - which we beleive is more efficient than having reports drafted with no action behind. 🚨 If your medical center would like to jump in, give us a call .... "Switch off the lights - get empowered for Earth" On Saturday the 23rd  March 2024, 20:30-21:30 it is once again time for #EarthHour.   The Green Labs community within the AstraZeneca BioVentureHub will show our commitment for a sustainable future.   In addition to our Green Lab energy-saving activities that we currently undertake within our labs, such as cleaning out the freezers/fridges, unplugging electrical devices when not in use, and setting the right temperatures, we will also focus on energy savings at home, including: - Turning off lights and electricity when not in use - Only using dishwashers and laundry machines when you have a full load - Air-drying/hang-drying your laundry instead of using the drying machine And... why not eat vegetarian for your 23rd dinner? It may sound like the simplest thing on earth... but it has no effect if we don't do it. Our AstraZeneca R&D site in Gothenburg will, of course, follow that good example by turning off the lights in time.   So why don't you follow the good example and also influence your circle of colleagues, friends and family to do the same! Last week the INN-PRESSME consortium met in Brussels for 3 days! Thanks a lot to our partner Greenovate! Europe for hosting and organising the event locally. In these three days we had 🛍 on day 1 our General Assembly Meeting were we discussed the progress in our test cases, the results of the two Open Calls and planned the last 12 project months. 📑 on day 2 our second project Review Meeting took place together with the external expert reviewer and our project advisor from European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) validating the results and progress. 📝 on day 3 we had a dedicated workshop on policy barriers and we promoted our bio-based solutions for packaging and automotive sectors. We have made huge progress in the past year! Thanks to the great collaboration within the project team. The test cases are running and the first prototypes of the INN-PRESSME end-products have been developed. In the coming weeks we will provide you with more information. So stay tuned!
