If this guy ever had to go out and purchase groceries, he might consider all the farmers harvesting the food in his cart, that have to pay carbon tax to grow and harvest our food. Then the trucking companies that deliver the food must buy gas with a carbon tax associated with each item increasing their costs. Canadian consumer's cost of a trip to the grocery store has more than doubled in the last three years. Then everyone in this country needs to heat their homes it hurts common Canadians every day. Why don't we eliminate carbon pricing it is not reducing worldwide emissions it only reduces Canadian emissions. Focus on research and development inside our Canadian Energy companies to find alternative energies and deliver the cleanest possible energy to the world. That will do more for the environment, the people of this great country, and the world. Canada needs more clean Canadian oil and gas. Every company that I deal with daily is concerned about the well-being of their employees and about the well-being of our world's environment! Trudeau you just don't get it, (it is not about a sweet UN posting into your retirement) what you are doing is harming everyone in this country and not helping the Environment. Get rid of him.
The difference is clear: while Pierre Poilievre wants to take Canada backward, we’ll keep Canada moving forward – for everyone.

🇨🇦🍁 Reflecting on Canada Day: Embracing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion 🍁🇨🇦 Canada Day is a time to celebrate the rich mosaic of cultures and peoples that make this nation unique. However, we must recognize that for many Indigenous communities, this day may hold a different significance. Turtle Island, the land we now call Canada, has been the ancestral home of Indigenous Peoples long before the concept of Canada even existed. While we celebrate the achievements and diversity of our country, let us also take a moment to reflect on the often-troubled history between the Canadian state and the original inhabitants of these lands. Many Indigenous Peoples have not fully aligned themselves with the Canadian identity, as the legacy of colonialism and the ongoing struggles for self-determination and reconciliation remain deeply felt. Some are not Canadians but are rights and treaty holders on this land that we are guests on. It is crucial that we honor and uplift the voices, stories, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples, not just on Canada Day, but every day. Their resilience, wisdom, and stewardship of the land are integral to the fabric of this nation, and their rightful place as the first peoples of Turtle Island must be recognized and celebrated. In this spirit, let us come together to acknowledge the complex and nuanced perspectives on this day, and strive to build a more inclusive, equitable, and just society that truly reflects the diversity and the deep-rooted history of this land and its peoples. Wishing everyone a reflective and inclusive Canada Day. 🇨🇦❤️ —- Artistic version of the national flag using native motifs and style. Canada Day: Reimagining Our Shared Future On this Canada Day, we stand at a crossroads of history and possibility. Today, we honor not just a nation, but a vision of what we can become. First and foremost, we acknowledge the Indigenous peoples - First Nations, Métis, and Inuit - whose ancestral lands we occupy. Their millennia of stewardship, wisdom, and resilience form the true foundation of this country. As allies, our role is clear: 1. Listen deeply to Indigenous voices 2. Learn our shared history - both triumphs and tragedies 3. Act decisively for justice and reconciliation This Canada Day, I challenge you: • Identify the traditional territories you're on (native-land.ca) • Support an Indigenous-led organization in your community • Commit to one concrete action advancing reconciliation in your sphere of influence True patriotism isn't about flags or fireworks. It's about fostering a nation where every person's dignity is upheld, where historical wrongs are addressed, and where diverse cultures flourish side by side. The path forward isn't always easy, but it's necessary. It requires courage to confront uncomfortable truths, humility to learn, and determination to create change. So today, let's celebrate not what Canada has been, but what it can become. A country that truly honors its First Peoples, embraces its diversity, and leads globally in justice and reconciliation. What's your commitment to this vision of Canada? #ReconciliationIsPersonal #EveryChildMatters #DecolonizeCanadaDay Together, we can transform this day from a celebration of the past into a powerful catalyst for a more just and inclusive future.

Today as we celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day, we reflect on the many contributions Indigenous people have made to Canada. As an organization and as individuals, we recognize and respect: - The diversity of Indigenous cultures and worldviews and their roles in Canada’s past, present, and future. - Our collective responsibility to share natural resources revenues and close gaps in socio-economic conditions between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people. - Our role in the journey towards reconciliation by advancing Indigenous knowledge systems in all our work. - Our privilege to live, work, and play on Indigenous land.
