Today is #WorldMenstrualHealthDay and one of the core strands of the EDI Caucus is understanding the relationships between menstruation and (peri)menopause and career outcomes in the research and innovation ecosystem. Our first report will come online in two weeks revealing the various challenges faced by women living with problematic menstruation in workplaces designed by, and for, those who do not menstruate. From PPE and toilet access, to inaccessible field work and stigmatising attitudes to menstruation, our data will reveal not only the intersectional lived experiences of women researchers, but also how organisations can better support those who menstruate.
