Today happens to be International Yoga Day - a day to celebrate all things yoga, and the manner it can make a noticeable difference in our lives. As somebody who has been undertaking various components of yoga for over a decade, I have seen the difference that it can make. Whether it's asanas, pranayama (breathwork), meditation, or yog nidra (or NSDR - non-sleep deep rest , as the science community calls it) one thing is very clear. If you want to calm down, obtain a new perspective, and become more stoic about life, you will be happier; and this will hopefully help you to navigate through the trials and tribulations of life.
