🎉 Excited to celebrate one year at Curitics Health 🎉
Reflecting on the journey, it's been a rollercoaster ride with its fair share of ups and downs. But through it all, one thing remains crystal clear: the invaluable lessons learned and the immense growth experienced.
From conducting engaging R&R sessions to seamlessly handling internal operations, the past year has been a whirlwind of new challenges and opportunities. Transitioning from a recruiter to taking on the role of an HR professional, managing tasks from end to end, has truly been eye-opening.
This milestone isn't just about marking off another year; it's about recognizing the importance of seizing every opportunity that comes my way. It's about taking initiative and investing in personal and professional development without hesitation.
Here's to embracing every opportunity, seizing the moment, and propelling towards continued growth and success at Curitics Health and beyond! 💼 #OneYearAnniversary#GrowthMindset#ProfessionalDevelopment
4. 🧵
My Role as the User Engagement Lead was the most out-facing Role as it required me to:
1. Be at the forefront of understanding user pain points using user-friendly surveys and quizzes to understand user behaviour. Respond to the challenges and difficulties users may have with using the product while ensuring this is fixed in a timely yet customer-friendly way, both from the clinical and product development end.
2. Through #AkomaCircles and much more, I was tasked with creating and executing campaign strategies that key closely with the company vision, such as
a. The Impact of “Japa”(Leaving one home country for better economic opportunities in another country) on Mental well-being,
b. Financial Well-being,
c. Overcoming Work-related Stress and Burnout,
d. Mums Matter Too,
e. International Men's Day,
f. Living with a Chronic Condition and the Impact on Mental Health,
g. Sex, Modern Relationships and the Impact on Mental Health etc.
I am forever grateful that the following thought leaders and organisations indulged me. This is an exhaustive list, kindly pardon me:
Olu of Canada, CareerBuddy Lagos to London Podcast, The Star Network Podcast, Maryam Adebola-SalamiEyowoThrive Financial, IncMorenike Olusanya, Koromone AY, Feyi Macaulay, Theodora Olumekor, RehabifyChiamaka Amaku, Feyikoya Kamson, Tife Soloye and many more!. "Aminah from Akoma Health" is grateful to you all!
I would also like to thank the fantastic marketing team I worked with, Tomi, Sanasi Amos, Fola and Victor Alumona, for bringing all these campaigns to fruition.
My greatest lesson is that collaboration is vital for growth and ensures the other party has something to benefit from each collaboration. The importance of follow-ups cannot be over-emphasised. Finally, Always set the objectives and monitor metrics before and after a campaign.

Over the next few days, I'll highlight my fantastic work as the Clinical Operations, Partnership and User Engagement Lead. This particular Role challenged me in several ways as I had just transitioned from a core care-related role, so I'll share some of my achievements and learnings.

I've posted a bit on Consultant Relations in the Health Benefits world, especially re the common questions I receive (how to hire, geography versus house) but time and time again, I have to caveat my answers. Why you ask? A: the Commercial Team behind you (actually, supporting and leading and guiding you) should actually dictate the most accurate answers to said FAQs.
FF: I am lucky enough to be working with the Commercial crew at Virta Health (pic: very small subset of the whole team). Giddy up!
Special shout-outs to Trent Myers, Jennifer Chisholm, and Kimberly Lozowski!
