A New Structure
During our recent gatherings, we collectively co-created and evolved the structure for our cuppa yarns. This new structure includes 3 weeks of open sessions, where those who have joined Walk Together's mission of having 100,000 cups of tea can bring diverse topics to the table for discussion.
Every 4th session will be dedicated to focusing on a specific Walk Together topic or providing a platform for individuals to share their skills, stories, and impactful experiences, occurring once a month.
The new structure enables us to maintain a dynamic environment since visitors to the group change weekly. We can then also plan forward a bit so that you can choose which week’s might suit your needs. We aim to maintain a space that nurtures understanding, connection, and positive change, both within ourselves and in our communities.
The Last Session
In our last session, we delved into the crucial topic of dealing with racism. In this story, the focus was around when to call out racism (while facilitating) and how to deal with it. We engaged in an interesting and complex discussion, listening to each other’s perspectives.
