Today we taken a big step with our partner supplier Eurofresh V&F to develop the category for organic avocados. Today have proven that despite almost a decade of consitent business, there are still plenty of room for exciting new joint development to explore growth in organic consumption. To make a real difference and support the implementation of our new private brand supplier strategy (also known as our TIGER project), planning of shared ambitions and concrete initiatives is crucial. At Coop Trading Trading we want to take our partner supplier relations to the next level through our 3-year shared & rolling growth plans that cover category development initiatives for the coming years in order to create leading Nordic private brands. An important part of our supplier strategy is also to encourage our partner suppliers to take effective and fast action on addressing climate change by committing to Science Based Target initiative (#SBTi). Delivering on quality, consistency and attractive prices require access to good sustainable raw materials in everything from e.g. production of products, green energy, and packaging, and through #SBTi our suppliers are better equipped to implement effective initiatives reduced their Co2 footprints (now!). We, Anders Lind and Christian Østerbye received Francisco Claros Reyes, Jose Manuel Rodriguez and Florencio Rio-Miranda Crespo at our office in Valencia to jointly address how to make a difference to 27 million consumers and deliver BETTER EVERYDAY THROUGH LEADING NORDIC PRIVATE BRANDS. Barebells Fast Food and Milkshakes, now part of Germany deposit scheme Germany has one of the largest and highest-performing deposit return schemes in the world, covering both PET, glass, and aluminium. Since January 1st, dairy products are now part of the scheme, meaning that both Barebells Fast Food and Milkshakes will come with a refundable deposit (25 cents). At Vitamin Well we constantly strive to minimize our impact on the environment. When it comes to our beverage packaging, Vitamin Well bottles are made of 100% recycled plastics, NOCCO cans are made of 70% recycled aluminium, while Fast Food and Milkshakes are made of 51% recycled plastics. We're still waiting for Returpack / Pantameras implementation of dairy products in the Swedish deposit scheme. At the same time, many European markets still lack national deposit schemes for consumers. We hope that will change during the coming years. For now, we hope all our German Barebells consumers have already started depositing Fast Food and Milkshakes!

By introducing QLM Flexibles stand-up pouches, Vanuatu Noble was able to import in bulk, safely re-package in an Australian HACCP certified facility, and supply the market with products in more practical volumes. I know a lot of my Food Science friends are going to love this one. CSIMarket reported that in 2022 margins in the food processing indusry were under 12% (on average). As a benchmark for comparison, the most profitable food companies have net profit margins between 20-30%. Sounds like to me there is a ton of opportunity to help reduce costs as much as possible. Just before bidding 2023 farewell, we traveled to southern Spain to welcome its glorious strawberry season and visited major growers in Huelva. It was a great opportunity for us to learn how the supply chain is operating- from the picking in the field to the difference in the packing processes. Whether you have a fully automated packing house or packing right in the field, there is a lot LiVA can do for you: our external validation reaffirms our ability to add four days of shelf-life at the retailer, making a crucial impact at the last mile. For the delicate strawberries, shipping in a truck to the rest of Europe makes shelf-life super challenging. Adding even two days can disrupt the entire strawberries market. This trip we were accompanied with our investor and board member Roni Eiger - thank you so much for arranging the trip and tours. We would also like to thank the generous growers for hosting us at their packing houses, introducing us to the team, and answering all of our questions.
