I am getting a bit tired of most of the let’s say Acquisition Specialists, telling me that they found my profile in LinkedIn and I would be a 100% match for the a very interesting open position they currently have in their portfolio, IFFFF I would be prepared to relocate to Poland, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Ireland, to name a few countries.
Or for a language that I do not speak/write. Last week I was even invited for a job with Hungarian language, well I speak and/or understand many languages, but no Hungarian.
Sometimes they cannot even match my current remuneration, in a country where the cost of living is double at least.
I always think: “Did you even look at my details?”
I live in Bulgaria with my family and I work from my fully equipped home office and I have no intention to move anywhere.
I am a team player, but I can also work independently.
Although about half of my more than 16 years of work experience in the contact center business has been in technical support, I prefer to work in customer support (B2C/B2B) related jobs.
Before I worked about 20 years in sales, marketing and (product) management, so if some sales is involved, no problem at all.
I have strong analytical skills, am patient, empathetic and have a strong sense of quality. I am commercially driven enough to perform in sales as well. Solving customer’s issues has become a second nature over the years.
I am a Dutch Native speaker (C2+) and I also have very good levels of English and German (C1/C2) in speak and writing. My French is about sufficient enough to tell people that I do not speak French (B1)
Although I live in Bulgaria since 2015, my knowledge of Bulgarian is very basic, as we speak German at home.
In outsourcing I have been working as a customer service specialist, sales specialist and/or technical support specialist in Dutch, English and/or German. Handling all customer service issues, like verifying customers, finance, solving delivery problems, warranties, refunds, taking orders, internet connectivity, i-TV problems, supporting hardware and software, operating systems, etc., in calls, live-chat and email.
Do not mind taking international calls or handling international tickets in English or German, but I prefer a mainstream in Dutch.
Last week I was asked if I plan to retire at 65 ….. well I am 64 now, but I prefer to keep a smart mind and keep working till maybe 70 or so, so if you hire me now, there will be plenty of time to enjoy me.
I am looking for remote job in Customer Support, Technical Support and/or Sales or combination of these in Bulgaria (or within the EU/US if remotely from Bulgaria is no issue).
I prefer to work from my home office, separated from the rest of our house, which is equipped with its own 100Mbit internet connection, heating, kitchenette and alarm system.
I am looking forward to interesting offers!
BR, Gerald.
