Did you know that the famous Griffith Observatory #Planetarium in Los Angeles uses ZEISS technology? 🌠 When it opened on Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park in 1935, it was equipped with the historic 12-inch refracting telescope – the ZEISS MARK II star projector. Since then, it has allowed visitors to explore the beauty of the stars. 🌙🔭 This telescope is perfect for night-time public viewing, showing the Moon, planets and the brightest objects in our galaxy. Join us in celebrating 100 years of ZEISS Planetariums and discover its rich history. Find out more about the centenary here: https://zeiss.ly/100
Yup.; I had the chance to visit the Griffith Observatory. It was an incredible experience exploring such a landmark, with its stunning views and fascinating exhibits. The observatory not only offers a glimpse into the wonders of astronomy but also provides a unique perspective of the cityscape of Los Angeles. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in science, history, or simply enjoying breathtaking scenery.
It's incredible to see how ZEISS technology continues to be present in every field we can imagine. The remarkable precision and clarity makes astronomical observations more accessible and awe-inspiring. Kudos to continuous innovation and excellence! 🌟🔭
