Our CEO, Priscilla Almodovar, spoke to CNBC about how our Positive Rent Payment pilot is helping to break down renter credit barriers. According to participating fintech vendors, over 35,000 renters have established a credit score through our pilot. Additionally, over 437,000 renters are having on-time rent payments reported to help establish, improve, or maintain their credit score. Check out the article:

Fannie Mae’s Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investment supported the conversion of 157 existing single-room-occupancy (SRO) units to 114 studio and one-bedroom units for residents earning at 30%, 40%, and 60% Area Median Income in downtown Seattle.

Having a good credit score can make a difference when it comes to renting an apartment or getting a competitive interest rate on a loan. University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business Master’s in Management students recently concluded a successful 14-week experiential learning programming collaboration with Fannie Mae Multifamily. This unique partnership provided students with an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on real industry challenges. Throughout the program, students worked closely with Fannie Mae experts on conducting research and developing recommendations in strategic areas of importance. The program included an on-site visit to the University of Maryland and an immersive session at the Fannie Mae office. The program provided insights into Fannie Mae's role in facilitating affordable rental housing across the nation with a deeper understanding of the multifamily housing market.
