Children and young people
The Nordic Council of Ministers’ strategy states that “the Nordic Region must be the best place in the world for children and young people”. This means that the Nordic Region must lead the way in efforts to promote the welfare of children and young people, to ensure that children and young people are aware of their rights and are able to exercise them, and to ensure the participation of children and young people in decisions that concern them. Children and young people are important right now, not just in the future.
