The Role:
Provide extensive logistic support to the local and regional CT business.
Maximize service levels to our customers and minimize supply chain costs.
Maintaining a stock level in accordance with the agreed service level.
Inventory Management.
Order Management to ensure timely Order Processing and Invoicing.
Integrated transport logistics.
Total Logistics function that includes ordering, receipts, custom clearance, inspection,
picking, packing, warehousing, invoice initiation, distribution, and customer contact.
Administrative order processing and shipping of CT machines.
Supervision and controlling of all logistics related functions.
Develop and recommend appropriate instructions and working procedures for the administration of the
logistics functions.
Monitor and continually improve logistics department performance against set objectives.
Evaluate the performance and proficiency of personnel in the department and recommends staff for
necessary training to upgrade skills. (Performance appraisals).
Ensure the Company’s stock is properly protected, and physical Stock-take is made in strict adherence to
the FAM policy and instructions.
Negotiates forwarders / transporter contracts.
Authorization of local purchases, freight charges, credit notes, overtime, leave/sick leave as per Procura.
Price administration (standard cost, sales price, purchase price) based on settings by Business line mgrs.
Customer support and satisfaction.
What we expect of you?
Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
Supervisory and training skills.
Computer literacy – good working knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
Good telephone skills.
Good product knowledge.
Interpersonal skills to work with customers, suppliers, and management of the team.
